Angel DelightBanana (59g) - Pack of 6

Being in the U.S., I’d never had Angel Delight before. I ordered chocolate, butterscotch, and banana. I was expecting the butterscotch to be my favorite followed by the chocolate, but it’s the banana that win my heart. It tastes so fresh and decadent at the same time. And it doesn’t have a weird fake banana taste. If you blended bananas and heavy cream together, this is exactly what it would taste like. The only disappointing thing (about each of the flavors) for me is that they don’t really thicken up with soy milk. I don’t know if they thicken up more with actual milk or not, but in the videos I watched on YouTube of people making it, it seemed like theirs were a lot thicker than any of the ones I’ve made. The chocolate was the thinnest for me; the butterscotch and banana are slightly thicker. But even after mixing with a hand mixer and refrigerating overnight, the consistency I get is always similar to a milkshake that’s melted — slightly thinner than heavy cream straight out of the carton. So my Angel Delight is like eating a cream soup, basically, like if I added an extra cup of liquid to a box of pudding to make it drinkable. Still tastes really good, though! I just wish I could get it to come out more like a soft whipped cream or mousse. I used regular milk about half my life and non-dairy milks the other half, so I have plenty of experience with both, and I’ve never had a problem with any product turning out thinner using unsweetened soy milk instead of cow’s milk before, so it not thickening up for me struck me as odd.

Love Angel Delight!

For a food product, you would expect to see the best before date. Part of the delivery had full visible 'best before' dates, in sealed packaging. Another part of the delivery had invisible 'best before' dates, packed in a zip lock, and one of the packs had 'popped' and was leaking. But when I complained, I was told I the item was not eligible for return - and yet suppliers can send out unsuitable products ! This is wrong and should be addressed so customers are protected against such behavior of suppliers of food products.

If you like a dessert that is so sweet it kills your taste buds on your tongue for the next 8 hours, this is for you! It did have a nice flavor but whoah. Tried one packet and threw the rest out.

Unfortunately, when we received these the best before dates were blank and it actually looked like the date may have been there previously but been erased as there was a black smudge across the box where the date should've been. So was unable to verify if they were still good to eat, also a packet was leaking the powder.

Arrived with all six packets without any expiration date. Don’t want to take the chance eating considering the other packets I ordered arrived 3/29, with two days to their expiration date of 3/31. These packets could be years out of date!
