I wanted shorts that met several criteria. First, they had to have an elastic waist for an easy casual fit. But I also wanted small belt loops so I could quickly add a belt to class them up for those occasions when a classier look is needed. Also, the elastic (alone) must hold the pants up when a full-sized phone is put in the pocket while walking. (this may not seem like much of an issue but for me I have found it an issue). Finally, since I have a longer waist and shorter legs I wanted less than an 8 inch inseam. These shorts fit all these requirements and go above and beyond.

I purchased 2 of these shorts in the same waist size (31) but different colors and inseam lengths. The one with 5.5 inch inseam was tight around the waist, while the 7 inch inseam fit just right. Basically, the 5.5 was too tight to pull up without undoing the button, while the 7 had a lot of room to pull up (preferred for this kind of shorts with elastic).Beyond the waist fit issue, the material feels irritating. The material is stiff and stretchy which causes it to feel very uncomfortable when worn. The cut of the shorts are also uncomfortable because they seem to pull no matter how you move. You can constantly feel the shorts pulling somewhere on your body which makes them just too uncomfortable to wear. Something is wrong with the cut or maybe it's just the way these fit my body.I returned the 5.5 right away due to fit inconsistancy, but almost kept the 7. After wearing the 7 for a day, it was just too uncomfortable so I returned it too.I don't recommend these shorts as the spandex they added to the material is probably the cause of the way it pulls on your body. Not comfortable at all for me.

The cut/fit isn't great and the material is stiff. Not a fan, I returned it.

These shorts are identical to Chubbies. Same fit, material and design and about half the price. Highly recommend! I love this brand!

My husband loves these. Comfy but can look a little dressed up. Going to buy more!

Good fabric, nice color and nice fit. My son is steal and skinny and he enjoyed these a lot.
