My FAVORITE Oatmeal
I’m typically a plain oatmeal with sugar kind of gal. At Starbucks, I like the fresh blueberry oatmeal with nuts and agave syrup. I like simple, fresh flavors. I got this oatmeal at my local coffee stand on campus years ago and fell in love. The 5 Berry flavor is where it’s at. So good, so fresh, so tasty! I’ll admit, it’s a bit pricey. However, it’s a healthy snack and I like to treat myself sometimes

THE BEST quick oats
I’m a food snob and I’ve tried SO many brands of “instant” oats, both in cups and packets. Modern Oats beats them all, hands down. Instead of a tasteless slurry of sugary glop, this oatmeal (properly prepared) delivers whole rolled oats with a delicious medley of real fruit and nuts. Add a pat of grass-fed butter and it’s pretty heavenly for a breakfast that otherwise only requires boiling water. Modern Oats cups are a little pricey and they’re hard to find at stores, but I freak out when I imagine that they might go out of business (it’s a small company), because nothing else on the market comes close.

My favorite oatmeal!
I ate this all the time when I was on maternity leave, and now it’s my favorite breakfast treat on weekends. Highly recommend!

Tasty, filling, and healthy
Yes, it's expensive. A single cup of oatmeal can cost as much as an entire box of the leading grocery story brands.I buy it anyway because:1) It's tasty. The mango and blackberry are flavorful, not too sweet, and do not have any artificial taste.2) It's filling. If I eat this for breakfast or lunch, I'm not hungry again an hour later3) It's healthy, with protein, fiber, good fatsAlso:4) It's very convenient to keep in the office for quick lunches, late nights, etc.If you're tired of gritty, soupy, artificial, overly sweet mass-market brands and don't mind paying extra for quality, give this a try!

Modern Oats 5 Berry Oatmeal is very Tasty
I bought these to take on a 3 week road trip so I could have a nice healthy breakfast every morning, and well it turns out I stayed in nice hotels that actually offered hot breakfast, so I only had the oatmeal on 3 days, but I did eat 2 prior to leaving for my trip. The oatmeal is very tasty, I like the berry selection, and I also like that you can eat your oatmeal right out of the cup. I have only had the 5 berry flavor, so I can't comment on other other flavors, but this one does not disappoint. A tad expensive, but well worth it because there are no unnecessary ingredients.

but not really sweet or like dessert in a cup
This stuff blew me away. I also tried their variety pack, which ranged from "meh" to "good," but this is the winner. Just enough cherry chocolate to make it seem decadent, but not really sweet or like dessert in a cup. The generous, hearty serving of oatmeal makes it wonderfully satisfying.

Love the texture and taste of these, wish the packaging were without plastic film but guess that is hard to avoid. highly recommended.

Horrid. Tasteless. Minimal fruit. Blechhh.
Tasteless, horrible cardboard. Hardly any fruit, weird seeds thrown in, the oatmeal is amongst the worst I have ever eaten. I eat the Umpqua Organic Oatmeal and it’s delicious. Would I prefer to be eating a side of marble pound cake or a strawberry scone with my tea for breakfast? Yes. This, on the other hand is taking it way too far in the other direction. I’m trying, but put SOMETHING in there that tastes good. Fruit helps. How about some cinnamon? That would help. I would lose a lot of weight if this is all I had to eat. I don’t know what else to say to describe virtually nothing. Water is tasteless, too, but at least it’s refreshing. Okay, here goes: if you can get through it, it’s filling and it keeps you filled for hours.
