The meat grinder handles meat processing excellently, while the shredder allows for quick and even slicing of vegetables. The meat grinder comes with four attachments that allow you to grind meat at different levels—from coarse chopping to fine mince. There are also attachments for homemade sausage making. Although we haven’t used this feature yet, we find it useful and convenient for future experiments. The shredder fully met our expectations. We shredded carrots, beets, cabbage, and other vegetables. The shredder works especially well with cabbage when it’s cut a bit finer. The process is fast and even, which significantly simplifies making salads and other dishes, saving time and effort. The body of the meat grinder and the attachments are made of high-quality metal that is easy to clean and doesn’t rust over time. After use, the device stays clean without unpleasant odors or food residues. Overall, this set is an excellent kitchen helper for home use. We are happy with the purchase and recommend this combo to anyone who wants to simplify and speed up food preparation.

Work well with the machine

My husband grabbed this for me for Christmas and I’ve been using them way more than I expected! Both pieces slid onto the mixer perfectly and felt sturdy right away. The meat grinder comes with everything you need, and the slicer/shredder makes cheese and veggies go so fast. It really makes the mixer feel like an all-in-one kitchen tool instead of just something I pull out for baking. I really love that I don’t have to get preshredded cheese anymore that’s loaded with chemicals and I can just do it myself! Pros: - Fits the KitchenAid perfectly, no issues - Feels solid and well made - Meat grinds smoothly and evenly - Shreds and slices cheese and veggies super fast - Nice variety of blade sizes Cons: - Most parts need to be hand washed - Cleanup takes a few extra minutes compared to fully dishwasher-safe attachments - The parts are all oddly shaped so it’s a bit of a pain to store Honestly, this is one of those attachments that actually earns its storage space. I love being able to grind my own meat and shred cheese in seconds without dragging out extra appliances. If you cook from scratch or like doing things a little more homemade, this set is such a win. It’s been super handy and feels like it’ll hold up really well over time.

The attachments work well, easy to clean, and saved us some money. We often buy meat directly from local farmers 1/2 a cow at a time. We cut some of the less desirable tips, ends, and more into thin strips and make our own ground beef. We made a little over 5 lbs of ground beef this day for a little under $3 per pound. No additives, dies, or chemicals added to our ground beef like store bought ground beef. We just season to taste when cooking.

Good product, works great. However, it says dishwasher safe, but it oxidized very quickly. Just be wary of that.

Great items Ktichenaid is what's up

It’s easy to attach, works great for grinding meat, and shreds cheese like a champ. Definitely beats buying pre-ground anything. Just cut the meat into smaller pieces and keep it cold (partially frozen)unless you enjoy watching it struggle. Cleanup isn’t terrible if you don’t let everything dry into cement. My mixer has officially been promoted.

Great for small volume grinding. Will burn up your mixer if you grind too much without proper cool down procedure between batches.

The product was only good for one use. Soaked it in hot water and soap to get the fat off and now everything I touch the machine it’s grey marks all over my fingers and can’t be used

I washed this part of the meat grinder in the dishwasher, and it completely changed color and left black residue on everything. This part was supposed to be stainless steel, which is very disappointing. Clearly, the quality is not what was advertised.

Absolutely useless. It's so dull that won't grind or cut anything.
