LG HF65LA Ultra Short Throw LED Home Theater CineBeam Projector with Smart TV and Bluetooth Sound Out (2019 Model)

This projector is a minimalist’s dream come true! My apartment is all white and I had a beautiful 40” white TV, but always hated the black screen!!! I was constantly searching for an alternative and then I stumbled upon this projector. I did a lot of research, but kept coming back to this one. I LOVEEEEE IT. No more ugly black screen and I had no idea how much I would love this amazingly clear 100” screen!!!I do agree with some of the other reviews, that the internal speakers aren’t fabulous, but they are far from horrible. It even has several different sound options to play around with, such as “cinema”, “sports”, etc., depending on what you are watching. For you diehard audiophiles out there, you could simply connect your sound system via the Bluetooth. As a minimalist, I don’t want any extra speakers around, so instead I often connect my AirPods and listen/watch that way.My Apple TV is also hooked up to it via 1 of the 2 HDMI ports.Thank you LG and Amazon!!!

Super fast and easy to setup. I was expecting okay, but i was pleasantly surprised. Picture quality is good even in a moderately lit room. The remote control with the pointer makes it so easy to navigate quickly. The only negative I would say is the WebOS LG content store is lacking compared to what you get on Samsung or Google TV. In Canada, Disney+ was not available in the WebOS LG content store.

I am very pleased with this projector. I love the ultra short throw...it's great not to have wires running across my ceiling as with my other projector. The magic remote takes a little getting used to, but it's ok. For my application, I only use it to control volume, since I have my HDMI inputs going through a video switch then up to the projector. I highly recommend the projector. One other note: because of it's design, the lens and the mirror do tend to collect dust, so I keep a cloth over it when not in use, but I wonder if there isn't a better solution. Of course, if you attach to the ceiling, then it wouldn't be an issue.

I installed this in my condo theatre room. We had the wall painted with screen paint and now movie nights are better than ever. Love it and I'm super happy with the purchase.

I've used projectors for over 20 years and LOVE them. In the house I'm in now, I have a narrow room and not much room for throwing an image on the screen. A short throw was my only option. This projector fit the bill... it's got a great picture, super short throw distance, and some good smart options. On the downside, it's a LITTLE outdated on the smart tv options, and it does require a darker room than normal. Reminds me of the early generation projectors when it comes to how dark the room needs to be.Negatives- Requires a darker room- Slightly outdated software that LG doesn't update anymorePositives- Super short throw distance for a big screen- Great picture- Solid built in speaker- Easy setup- Built in smart features are a nice bonus- Remote is super cool with the "magic" functionI don't have much experience with short throw projectors but I do love this one... just wish it was a TOUCH brighter in light situations.
