ULTCOVER Waterproof Square Hot Tub SPA Cover 85 inch, Black

I installed this cover on my hot tub as soon as I received it. We live in an exceedingly high-wind area, and the cover stayed put. It is as described. Arrived as expected. The price was reasonable. It looks good on the hot tub and holds up well. The drawstrings on all four corners are a nice addition to help keep it in place. I am also able to take the main spa cover off without removing this one. I purchased this cover in August 2018 and was very happy with it. It is now December 19, 2019 and the cover failed miserably. I was adjusting the cover and not pulling very hard to move it when it tore. I'm not happy with the length of time it lasted, but I purchased another one. It served the purpose of protecting my hot tub, which was why I purchased it. It did that very well and lasted longer, according to the new owners of the residence. The above review was from a few years ago. Since then, I have moved from Nevada to Southwestern Utah. The weather is harsher here. Triple digits, high winds, blowing red dirt, and an area formerly known as the downwinder area, which is a result of the U.S. testing all those atomic bombs in Nevada. Anyway, in my previous review, I expected the cover to last much longer than it did. It did do the job but, for some reason, gave out in under two years, causing me to purchase a second cover. I just replaced the first cover that I purchased for my hot tub in Utah, which I purchased in early 2020. Now, three years later, more or less I am replacing that cover. It started failing at the bend in the main cover. I have to say that the cover has performed quite well. Obviously, since I have stayed with this company and its product. For whatever reason, that cover I purchased in Nevada in 2018 gave out early. The cover I purchased in Utah in 2020 has hung in there even with the harsher weather. I don't know why, I don't care as long as it lasts, and it did. So I just put the latest cover on today, 6-28-2024. We,ll see out this one goes. Hopefully another three years. The price is fair for the product and it is as described. I will continue to purchase this product regardless of its longevity. I do highly recommend this cover. It comes in many sizes and looks great.

Hot tub size is 78x74 with rounded corners. I wanted to wait just a white to review because I wanted to see how waterproof it was. We had 6 days of heavy rains and thunderstorms and the insulated top underneath the purchased cover stayed completely dry! Impressed! Zero leaking! Not even at seams! We live in area that gets a lot of rain and I love having my hot tub under the open sky so I wan watch stars at night. That being said the hot tub covers take a lot and don’t last as long as I would like. I’ve purchased other items from same company in the past and have been pleased with quality so decided to see how it would do for hot tub. Mine is not square so I couldn’t get the excavator size but close. It fits nice on one side the other is a couple inches longer than the actual cover but still doesn’t look bad! The material is a lot heavier and thicker than expected! Seams appear done with quality. They added extra measures to help keep secure with higher winds which is thoughtful! The side panels are extra long to help keep things dry even with storms! It worked! I did put the cover on top of insulated cover but under the rock-it easy lift as well. I’m happy with purchase! The only thing that would make it better is more sizes available.

I have a Hot Springs Vanguard hot tub whose cover measures roughly 86 1/2" x 86 1/2". However, with my lift mechanism attached, there's an extra 2" on either side and another 8" on the back. Knowing this, I really wasn't sure which cover to order so based on the various answers I read about this, I ordered the 85" x 85" cover (whose actual dimensions are 87" x 87") and fully expected to remove the lift, put on the cover, and remount the lift on top of the cover. To my VERY pleasant surprise, the cover FITS OVER MY LIFT! No lift removal/reinstall necessary. Granted, it's ever so slightly tight against the lift arms on the side, but not enough, I feel, that it might harm the cover. I guess only time will tell. Overall (and again, I only JUST received it), I'm pretty happy with the cover. It fits perfectly, looks nice, and is super easy to take on and off, hence my 5-star rating. Hopefully it holds up to the full sun the hot tub receives for half the day and there is no wear caused by the lift arms. Fingers crossed! ****UPDATE**** Well, only 2 months on the hot tub and the top of my cover has already faded from deep black to a chalky gray/white. It's definitely in the sun for a good part of the day (maybe 6 hours) but I contacted the company about it nevertheless and received the following reply: "Because color fastness of fabric may vary by different UV exposure level of environment, we ensures you that color fade won't affect the fabric strength and protective function." SO, if you're buying this cover for a hot tub that is in the sun for several hours a day, be aware that the color may fade dramatically in a very short amount of time like mine did. I uploaded two pics so you can see what I mean. (It's much more noticeable in-person.) As a result, I've lowered the rating by 1 star.

Perfect size. They give you multiple sizes to choose from; ours was perfect. We’ve had lots of wind lately, and cover does not budge. Has several connecting straps. Easy to put on and off. Definitely keeping rain off. Just installed new hot top cover (1000.00); this cover was for extra protection. Covers hydraulic lift and side bars. This is the best cover we have found. When adding pictures/video, I realized we don’t have straps connected on back of hot tub, and wind is blowing pretty good. Cover stayed on with no issues even when we apparently forget to connect some of the straps - so inadvertent great video to show cover stays on good even if you forget to connect a strap or two.

Awesome cover fit my hot tub just right. My old insulated cover fell apart over time and a new one costs over $500 dollars no way I was spending that much on a new one. I just bought 2 4x8 sheet s of foam wall insulation cut to size and put this cover over them works great for me down in south Texas.

This is an excellent spa cover cover. The fabric, fit, clips and barrel locks really allow you to tighten the cover close as possible to the spa walls. Our spa is 84”x84” with a cover lifter. I ordered the 85”x85” and it fits perfectly. One side of our spa abuts the deck and not enough space to fit the cover down between the spa wall and the deck. We folded the fabric up and under and clipped and tightened the barrel locks. Great product. Very pleased with the purchase. Also, color of the fabric is MUCH nicer than what you see online. A touch darker and richer looking. One suggestion I have for the manufacturer, consider making a cover for our situation where the spa is built into the deck. Make one side shorter. Just a thought.

I bought this cover to go over my somewhat old hot tub cover for added protection. It did the job pretty well and definitely holds off water and likely helps with energy efficiency. It stood up pretty decent to wind as long as you ratchet down the straps pretty tight. It does make accessing the tub a hassle so it's most good for long term protection when you are not trying to use your tub often. Just under 2 years from purchase this item basically broke via a large tear while attempting to put it back on the hot tub. The material had basically weathered and become brittle. Feel like it def should have lasted longer, but it was in somewhat direct sunlight for a good chunk of the time.

Identique à la description - super produit. Emballage trop faible et arrivé abimé (sachet plastique) Mais pas de dommage à la couverture. On l'utilise pour un jaccuzzi intérieur et il y a une odeur genre peinture... Je suppose que cela va partir avec le temps.
