STAY AWAY THIS BRAND. VERY LOW QUALITY PRODUCT.
Pros:Powerful5 speaker outputsmixer built in the amplifier.Adjust mic and music by remote control.Built in fan. You can stack up.Strong and tight bass, and high frequency treble.Cons:Very expensive.No POWER button on the remote.It is G2 with a new G3 chasis. The outside is G3 but the firmware indicates G2.Only 3 big knobs can be manually adjust. You need a computer to tune other knobs. Without a computer, it is complicating to tune.Software is very simple. It is hard to tune precisely.Sound is harsh since only low and very high frequencies are outputted. A large range of mid frequencies are not existed.UPDATE: I have to give them one star and WARN other buyers from this brand. After less than 2 month used (used 3 times, less than 10 hrs totally), last night the amplifier issued few POP noises following a LOUD EXPLOSION, then burning smoke fumed out from the chasis. I immediately removed the power cord. I guessed one of the capacitor or its transformer exploded because it was defected or low-quality. Ironically, the 2 speakers I used was made from them too (GS-612 G3). While the amplifier has 5 speaker channels, I used only 2, not overloaded at all. I still have the video after it exploded. It was so scary.

A perfect unit for Karaoke. Pricey but worth every penny
I have had the DX-288 G2 for about 4 years now and it is still working great. I primarily use it for Karaoke purpose. It is so powerful and all my friends and guests love the system when they visit our home or when we have a party. Basically, this unit is a combination of different units and you have all the controls you need for karaoke. We love the Feedback destroyer feature, never have any annoying noise from the speakers even when I bring the mic very close to the speakers, nothing happen.Some people sing very well on one system and they suddenly sing like sh*t when they come to a different system, you know what I mean if you are a Karaoke lover. This system makes your voice strong, clear, and your voice mixes perfectly with the music. This is what you need for a karaoke system. I have never tried it for home theater because this unit has very few inputs for that purpose. I recommended this unit for friends and guests and they all loved it. It is pricey, but it worth every penny. You will not regret.
