A: The 2 oz tube typically lasts about a month if used twice daily with the recommended pea size amount for each application.

**Q: Does it contain milk or dairy?**
A: The active ingredient in CariFree CTx4 gel is sodium floride 0.24%.  I see not evidence of milk/dairy products in the inactive ingredients.  For a more definitive answer, consult with your dentist.  My dentist and my ENT doctor both recommended this product, but I am not allergic to milk products.

**Q: Is this low foaming? Foam irritates my lips and mouth.**
A: Great question! This product does contain a foaming agent, if you prefer to avoid foaming please see our CariFree CTx3 Gel, in the grape flavor!

**Q: Q to seller:  “the ctx4 gel 1100 contains 25% xylitol!” why is xylitol the last ingredient? is the gel 25% xylitol by weight? thank you.**
A: Xylitol is the last ingredient on the list because we label the ingredients in alphabetical order as it is required for this type of product by the FDA.  Yes, the 25% xylitol is based on weight.
