QUESTIONING PRODUCT SAFETY
I bought a can of Teasdale white hominy as an impulse, wanting to add an Ecuadorian flare to a meal. Then I forgot about it and I am now wondering what the code on the can C4L T8 O52 O932 means.Is that a clue to an expiration date? to a date of packaging? Who has the time to log on and find NO INFO, like I did.WHAT HAPPEN TO THE FOOD BANKS? Are they overwhelmed with cans missing expiration dates. Is that fair for the customer? Isn't Teasdale responsibility to customers to provide a clear expiration date on all products?I recognize I made a mistake buying a product I can't trust. I won't happen again.

I'm not really sure why this item is listed incorrectly. $4.50 / 29 ounces = .16 per ounce, not .01 per ounce. This is a quality product.

The originator has altered the title. If you notice the shipping weight you will see that this could not be 12 cans. Please complain to Amazon for this deception.
