The media could not be loaded. This is my first time putting a good system in. I used to just get the cheapest Walmart speakers and head-unit. I bought a custom box with two 10s for a pickup truck I had once. I then bought an amp at the pawn shop for it. I had no idea what I was doing and was disappointed This time I did my research and did it right!I have a Sony GS80 head unit with pioneer speakers. Everything wired with 14 gauge, oxygen free copper wire. My cab is sound deadened with an 1/8 inch foam layer on top of that. System sounded amazing and I just need a sub setup. This kit made it easy.The delivery box is very heavy. I struggled to get the sub box inside the semi due to the weight. I used an O-Scope to check my signal from the head unit. That was good. I then set up the amp and sub. I used the O-scope to tune the gain. I will be honest. I started testing this out before a break in. It hit good. Then when I was finished for the day. I tuned the amp down, to break in the sub.I let the sub break in. Then I adjusted the LPF and HPF in the head unit. Readjusted the gain with the O-scope. Then the lord said LET THERE BE BASS!! It hits hard and deep. I love it and highly recommend these Skar kits to other audio noobs like me.

As expected, upon doing my research, yes... this sub is AWESOME! the lows hit hard, the amp is paired perfectly to it, altho i used a different wiring kit that is 100% OFC. The kit included is CCA, which to some may not be an issue, however, to me it is. I've been rocking this beast for 6 months now and have ABSOLUTELY no complaints other than i wish they offered an option that would fit into my trunk. I've had this literally sitting on my back seat since I installed it. I measured the trunk inside and while the box dimensions fit in the trunk, unfortunately it does not fit through the trunk opening. Weight wise, it is heavy! I'm used to heavy lifting, and even with that, due to its size and weight it proved a bit challenging for me. It looks fantastic, and the stitched skar logo reflects awesomely against the blue lights being flashed by the capacitor. It's power is enough for me and over exceeds my needs. Will this shake the block? no... Probably set off a few alarms. Will this shake and rattle you? F--- YEAH! For the price I honestly feel this is worth more than it's being sold for. Appears to be durable. Everything as far as craftsmanship is perfect! My package was not damaged in any way. All my corners are perfect, and the sub... MY LORD that sub is impressive! The photos in the description do not do it justice. All in all, yes... I am very happy with my purchase.

It don’t last if you play it loud literally 2 weeks of torture is all it can do. But the 800watt amp and the evl 15 is okay. To me the sdr did sound better than the evl which is unfortunate but maybe it’s the box idk.

This speaker beats really hard. Didn’t expect it with a 800 watt amp. But I have to turn down the bass on the knob it beats so hard. It’s in my crew cab truck btw. But still in a truck You would want to turn it down some. I’m super happy with it.

Nice overall but ended up switching back to my P2. and Pioneer amp. For the price its nice. but was hoping for a little more kick. Amp doesn't seem to want to kick. once i get to little over half volume. amp kicks on and off in protection mode. it still bumps but for a 15". definitely would recommend running a better amp with it. With the pioneer amp it hits decent and no issues. but with the amp it came with. it didn't do much. 5 stars for a set up under $400 brand new. but at the same time you can get something used for around $400 that hits a lot harder.

The media could not be loaded. Me and my friend installed it and it worked first try. The bass hits hard and is loud. I recommend calling Skar if you don’t know anything abt breaking it in and stuff. They sent a great email about how to do it and what to use. Now I don’t recommend getting the 15” if your car is smaller or has a very tight trunk. I ended up having to put it in my back seat because it was so big.

Absolutely SLAMS in my 2001 GMC Safari van. I can't believe you can pay this little for such an awesome package.
