Time and money sink.
Completely dissatisfied with this item. Description states that it will fit a Homer bucket. Perhaps my Homer buckets are non-standard or defective, but this lid would NOT fit. This lid is a bit different in design from other 5 gallon lids. It has 4 tabs, spaced evenly around the top. I could get 3 out of 4 to snap down, but could NOT get the fourth to snap shut. And in attempting to get the fourth to snap, the rim around the inside of the lid that should have slipped inside the top of the bucket was cut in several spots by the top of the bucket. Now not only will it not fit, but the sealing capability is compromised even if it did fit.Waste of money, waste of my time trying to make it work.

Excellent product
I am using it to pour paint from a 5-gallon bucket. It is much easier to control and doesn't make a mess like you may have when pouring from a heavy paint bucket with the top removed. It did not span tightly in place until I removed the O-ring that is inside the pouring spout lid - then it firmly spanned in place like the original lid. I am also concerned about the possibility of the spout possibly cracking it is pushed down and pulled back up many times, but this may be just unneeded caution. I can leave the spout pulled up all the time because I don't need to stack another bucket on top of it. I am very pleased with what appears to be a high quality product and can recommend it - it is well worth the price.

Got a bucket with my lid
The lid has a collapsible spout with a screw-top, and it snaps right down onto a 5-gal Home Depot Homer bucket, and will probably fit a blue Lowe's bucket as well. The collapsible spout was very stiff to pull out, and I'm not sure how long it will hold up to repeated collapsing and expanding, but I plan to leave mine extended, so it's not an issue for me. It might loosen up and be just fine, or it might wear out and crack. Just not sure there. But for just a few bucks, it's worth finding out.Not sure if it was a shipping error, but I ordered this expecting just a lid with a pour spout. It arrived with an included bucket as well. The bucket was designed for feeding/watering chickens, so it had feet screwed through the bottom and a chain attached to the handle, so it's a bit non-standard. The feet make it unsuitable for anything needing a drill stirrer, but for holding things that don't need stirred, like soil or rocks or water or whatever, it'll work fine.

Works great.
Good product as described and quickly delivered. I use it in the brewing process to improve the ease of pouring liquids out of a 5 gallon bucket. so far so good.

Convenient way to reuse those 5 gal buckets
I use these lids for nyjer bird seed. It seals, protects the seed, and it pours nicely.

Doesn't fit smoothly. Tried on 3 different buckets. Plastic kept rolling into lip. I had to clip off folded plastic and use a screw driver to get the lid on.

5-Gallon' and I was quite disappointed as I wanted it for a school project
Hi, the bucket lid does not fit 'Kraft Tool GG468 Plastic Bucket without Lid, 5-Gallon' and I was quite disappointed as I wanted it for a school project. The company should have been more upfront in telling users specifically which brand and size of buckets fit the lid. Other than that, the quality of plastic was quite good but I was confused by the 'Tear here' message because when I tore the plastic rim, the bucket lid still did not fit and seemed worse.
