Easy to use
This bottle helps me reduce my use of single plastic bottles of tea. You can make your own tea with loose tea leaves or a teabag. It's great for making iced tea. It is very easy to take apart the components to wash them.

Great for loose leaf tea.
I love this bottle, but the rubber gasket stains and does not come clean.

Use it every day
This bottle has changed my life. I am switching from coffee to tea, but wasn’t a fan of the bitterness of a hot green tea in the morning. Now with this bottle I cold brew the green tea overnight with lemon, and it’s an amazing refreshing drink in the morning. Wakes me up better than coffee!

Need to use a 2nd strainer
I previously purchased the Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Tea Pot, 700ml, which is great and has mesh filter in the lid. Unfortunately the holes of the plastic strainer included with this product are too large and it does not filter out my loose leaf tea, so I have to use a 2nd metal strainer, which is not convenient.

Perfect for Cold Brew Tea!
It's perfect for making cold brew with both loose leaf and with satchels of tea. It's very pretty also

I wish it was a little bigger.
Strains loose leaves perfectly without clogging. My only complain is size

Fragile, messy, and not worth the trouble.
I ordered this Hario portable tea bottle because it was affordable, at only $21, and I liked the minimalistic design. I was very excited to use it. I had it for about a week before I decided to return it because it was honestly a pain to use. It felt very cheap. It was very much a “you get what you pay for,” tea infuser. Every time I took off the top and went to screw it back on, it felt like that if you just slightly turned it a little too far, you could break it. The filter was also very flimsy and because the filter holder is made of silicone, it didn’t really hold it in place. If you just wiggled it, the filter would just pop off. Another issue I had with the filter is that leaves could still get through it. The leaves would pass right through the filter and then get stuck at the top, so whenever I went to drink from it or pour it into another glass, all these leaves that got stuck at the top would just be everywhere. No matter what I did to try and remedy the situation, nothing ever worked. There was always a bunch of tea leaves that would wind up in my tea. It’s unfortunate because it does make good tea, I just felt like it was doomed to fail one day and I couldn’t stand swallowing tea leaves any longer. I bought the Mosi tea infuser instead and it works 10x better!
