CapezioGel Knee Pads - Size Large, Natural

I have recently taken up figure skating and really enjoy it, but not the falls! I purchased these after a few too many bumps and bruises. I wear them every time I skate now... they are very comfortable, thin under my pants, and also give a little support. While they are not the most protective thing I could buy, I have fallen on my knees again once with these on and it hurt a whole lot less. The pads seem to be sized for skinny adults, I am 5'8" 120 lbs and the size L fit me well. I would like to get the same pads for my 8-year-old twin girls who also skate, but I have a feeling the size S will be way too big for them.

These knee pads provide some support, stabilizing the knee, but I can still move well while exercising. I bought two pairs many years ago (2017 or 2018) and the gel is starting to move around on one of the four pads. They've been great for many years so I decided to invest in a new pair. The new pair seems exactly the same. Excellent quality.

The large/extra large barely fit my 14 year old. They work great but are very snug. Be careful on the size.

Even though the fit is somewhat small, I do have thick thighs, so the top rolls down on me. I'm still giving it 5 stars because they provide amazing support and comfort! My knees have taken a beating. With these I can very naturally lower to the ground without hands and remain on my knees without pain and then rise back up without touch the floor. Fantastic!!!

Other than the fact that these are Bunheads, not Capezio and nowhere on the package does it say "Mens", these are perfect. I'm an adult female who decided to start taking dance at 26 after 8 long years off. Now I'm up to 12 classes a week and my knees take a beating, particularly in jazz, lyrical and contemporary classes. These have enough cushion that they make floor work easy, but aren't bulky at all.

I was in a show that required kneeling. I have bad knees and wasn't about to kneel without some padding. These were recommended by my choreographer. I like the fit: never had to adjust them or had the fabric roll down on me. I maybe would have liked a little more padding, but I understand that to give a sleek look that they couldn't have much more bulk.

Just needed a little cushion for my knees while dancing and these did the job. If you want thicker knee padding then these are not it.

These are very low profile and the gel cushion is somewhat hard, no forgiving squish. It didn’t help cushion my knees for pole dancing well enough. I like how high up they come on the knee but it just wasn’t protective enough. They were quite tight even for a large. I’m 5’8” and 115 lb (with skinny legs) and they were almost too small.

I'm a short woman, so I tucked the upper band down, and the lower band up into the inside of the pad, to make them shorter. They stayed perfectly, with practically no wrinkles.Used for floor work. (I'm 5'3" 117 lbs). I bought size large
