JBL FLIP 5 Portable Speaker IPX7 Waterproof Bundle with gSport Limited Edition Carbon Fiber Case (Black)

As a yoga teacher, I needed an easily portable speaker that I could use both inside and outside in a variety of room sizes and environments and this little speaker fits the bill wonderfully. It is easily portable, comes with a great case, holds a charge a long time, and most importantly, puts out great sound. I have not used mine around water so can’t speak to the water resistancy aspect. This is my second JBL portable speaker ( I had a different kind for years before this one), and I believe the brand is solid; I actively sought out JBL options when buying this one and I would buy JBL again.

Love this JBL bluetooth speaker! I bought it to stream music from my phone while I'm working in the craft room and in the garage. The sound is great and balanced, and I haven't had to fuss much with any of the settings. At it's loudest volume setting, the sound is very clear save for a little rattle that can come from cranking the volume all the way up, but overall sounds great. I don't recommend this particular JBL speaker for say, a large party (JBL makes waaaay better & bigger speakers for that), but for listening to music around the house and garage or at the beach or campsite, it works well. The set up was really easy to do via the JBL app and linking to the speaker was easy, as well. I'm really enjoying my JBL Flip 5!

This is the second JBL Flip 5 I have bought. I bought the first for outside by the jacuzzi. My husband ended up taking it to work one day, construction site. That is some hard use, but he ended up loving it so much he took it over. I bought a second for the jacuzzi again. One night we had it on the side of the jacuzzi, wine was involved, and we ended up knocking it into the jacuzzi and not realizing it until the next day. We put it in rice, just hoping it might work. Charged it back up and it works great. It pairs easily between different phones. Great sound quality and a really long charge life. Don't worry about this purchase.

This is the perfect little/powerful speaker (Only had it for a week so can't attest to battery or waterproof). Tested Bose equivalent and was less impressed. This is the Goldilocks speaker, not too small/cheap to be worthless but not too big/expensive to be not worth it. The bass comes out the sides and there are speakers in front; I don't think it's possible to get more bass out of something this size. I am constantly on the move and I bring this everywhere. It's just so satisfying to hold, from the material to the weight and interface is just so straightforward you don't even really need instructions, except for maybe ganging a group of them together! One of the most well thought out products I've used in a long time, highly doubt you will be disappointed.

awesome speaker that puts out a sound that you wouldnt think that a monospeaker would put out. i am extremely annoyed that the prime day price for this (which was a featured item) was $99.95 the exact going rate that it is a month later. WTH amazon its not exactly a prime day deal if the listed prime day price is the same price as its normal price. i'm willing to overlook that crap purely because it is a quality speaker as far as portables go. i would have preferred a dust ingress protection rating but thats not a deal killer (the flip 6 is IP67). the app for it is trash. party boost when it actually works is good. id just forgo the app and pair it with whatever.

Sounds great for the price. I'd seriously recommend 2 though. 1 channel sound can be pretty bad with certain types of music. It's great for hip hop, but you'd want 2 paired together for metal and music with instrumental harmonies or any complexity.

EXCELLENT speaker!!!!!Great sound, loud volume, well made, rugged, made for any condition, very nice case. Why pay more?????I bought it for outside use rather than take my Bose Revolve out in the elements. The only drawback is no charging station but easy to plug-in - does use its own cord.Just turn it on and pair through your Bluetooth setting on your phone/tablet and you are listening. Automatically pairs when turned on after that.

I picked up one of these for my camper and for camping more specifically. It's nice to have tunes with you and the portability is nice. This package deal came with a pretty decent padded case as well, which looks good, and works well to contain the unit and all the cords.Sound is awesome. This is replacing another Kicker unit (similar size and specs) that while it sounded great and worked well, had about 1/3 less volume than the JBL does. I am happy with my purchase but have only used it a few times, will update with a more detailed review if anything changes.Picked this up on sale in this combo deal... and it was a good deal for the 2.

Great product, gave it to my grandson for his birthday. He loved it just wished it was a little louder.

This Flip 5 is a replacement of my old Flip 4 it battery died and no a chance to get one, the sound is the same than the 4, the only different is the 5 doesn't have a wire connection to the digital player it is a Bluetooth but work very well even in a long distance.

Excellent condition, nice package, very easy to use and performance as advertised. Response time with cell phone radio apps is excellent.

Just like jbl has been around for years and there is only a few other that are as good or better if you’re willing to spend twice as much money
