Review: Heavy duty and lots of steam - Very heavy duty and feels more professional that a lot of irons. My last Singer iron lasted me for 6 years and finally quit, so I had to purchase a new one. This one is so heavy that it helps to flatten seams when you are sewing very quickly. The button for the steam does occasionally get stuck if you use it too much, but I've found that with this iron, you really only need to use the button a little bit and the steam will continue to work after that. If the button does get stuck, you just pop out the button with a flat screwdriver, pull up on the little white knob inside, and you're good to go. It does not feel cheap and plasticy like a lot of the other irons out there, and I love the fact it comes in pink.

Comparison the Singer feels better built than the Rowenta, but the knobs feel cheaper. It comes with a cup for water and the sprayer works like every iron, but I prefer to use a separate sprayer for better mist.

**Q: Anyone know how to confirm the sole plate is as hot as it should be? A remote infrared thermometer reads 135 F when set on Linen; should be about 400.**
A: Ours never got hot either and the steam was not as bold as our old iron so we sent ours back.

**Q: Is The pink steam craft is it easy enough to use ? To do change settings without the digital on the green plus version which is $20 more**
A: Super easy to use! The knob turns and green light goes on when ready. Easy to fill and steam is great! I am a lover of ironing ( I know weird) but this easy is my favorite iron!

Very heavy duty and feels more professional that a lot of irons. My last Singer iron lasted me for 6 years and finally quit, so I had to purchase a new one. This one is so heavy that it helps to flatten seams when you are sewing very quickly. The button for the steam does occasionally get stuck if you use it too much, but I've found that with this iron, you really only need to use the button a little bit and the steam will continue to work after that. If the button does get stuck, you just pop out the button with a flat screwdriver, pull up on the little white knob inside, and you're good to go. It does not feel cheap and plasticy like a lot of the other irons out there, and I love the fact it comes in pink.

the steam button started sticking/not working - it would stay down without activating steam. then suddenly it just wouldn't come back up at all. not steaming, just not allowing me to push it for steam. don't be fooled by how cute it is in pink. i'm so sad. it really is pretty, but even before this happened, it would shut itself off EVEN WHILE IN USE, which was SO annoying. especially as a seamstress - i just need to press quickly, not stand around waiting for the iron to constantly heat itself back up. i've never had an iron need to reheat while i was using it. i'm calling for support, hoping for a replacement, but not holding my breath.
