G Ganen 40-inch American Flag Windsock (3.3 Feet). Stars and Stripes Windsocks - Includes Hanging Clip.

We love our American Flag Windsock. Not only is it patriotic but it brightens up the yard and shows us wind velocity and direction. Who could ask for more. It looks like it will do its job for a long time as it is very well constructed. We hung ours from a 'Shepherds Hook' and it works just great. The only thing I wish was that they had included a hook to hang it up. I bought a package of them, just in case, and was glad I did. This is a great product. I'm sure my neighbors are 'green' with envy. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.

During these times, flying a regular flag is sometimes an issue. Our town has had a couple protest marches. My neighbor came over and said to even take down the windsock because of who was going to show up here in town. We hang this in the back off our patio roof. I love it. We are patriotic and do hope that no one takes this windsock.Also hope to be able to keep this up and flying in the wind. A great purchase.

Unfortunately this windsock only lasted 6 months in our environment. We get a lot of sun and frequent high winds here which doesn't help the longevity of any windsock. I purchased a similar 40" windsock in the past for about $5 more and it lasted over a year in similar conditions. I will probably purchase the slightly more expensive windsock next time.2020 Update: I just purchased this flag for the 4th time. Different flag than the previous 3 purchases. The packaging and the embroidery on the stars is different. I paid much more to get the same flag as my first 3 purchases but didn't. I'll buy a cheap alternative next time.

We've flown this proudly for less than 3 months and it's so badly faded that we're going to have to replace it. Perfect size for our needs. Good hanging system (although the advertised "brass" spinner is already rusting - fresh water lake. Brass my @$$). Too bad the sock itself is pure junk. Better quality should go into items related to our flag...

I wish this was made of a little bit heavier material--but who knows maybe it would't blow then! Anyway, my husband really liked it and his only complaint was with the clasp it came with that is used to hang it. I didn't pay attention but one of the product picture clearly shows that it is a simple swivel clasp like the kind you would use on a fishing pole to attach a hook or lure. But it has held up and has not faded in the month or so that we have had it. Overall, we like it and it looks great on our porch.

I haven't installed this flag windsock yet because of our rainy windy weather here in South Florida, but I'm going to rate this windsock five stars because it seems to be superior to others that I have bought, but with our hot rainy windy weather I can't expect any kind of material to last a very a long time.

It faded easily. The end shredded easily. We received April 2019, install shortly after receipt. See the pictures to see what looks like here is June 21, 2019. Has only been used for about 2 maybe 2 1/2 months.

Bright sharp colors make this sock stand out -- in addition to the fact it is light weight and does not require a lot of wind to fill it out. The lightest of breezes will get this sock to fill out. It comes with it's own swivel-snap connector so it attached to my windsock rigging with no problem.
