Anti Static Wrist Strap 11" Grounding Bracelet with Alligator Clip

Simple and inexpensive, and it does exactly what an anti-static strap needs to do. Not much more to say about it - it's a cheap insurance policy on expensive parts, and there's no reason to work without one.

I attached the alligator clip to the screw coming out of a 120 outlet so I could be grounded the entire time while switching out my motherboard. I pulled this thing hard while on my wrist numerous times and it never came off through the entire process. I relied on it more than I should have and only touched bare metal on the IO shield a couple times so I have to say this thing worked great and fit snugly without ever needing adjusted or feeling like it was going to rip off. I am very impressed

Great value for the money and delivered right on time. I'm 6'7 and my wrists are close to 10in so I was a little hesitant about purchasing something that would not fit me. However, the band fit me perfect with plenty of room left for adjustments and zero comfort issues. The band seems stretchy enough without being an issues and the clip is solid. Would definitely purchase again or recommend to a friend.

I was getting painful electric shocks while walking on a treadmill at my gym. I looked at all the different things being offered online and decided to try this one as it was so affordable. I used it today, the only metal I could find on the machine was the ring connecting the emergency shutoff switch. It totally worked and I am so pleased. It is a little annoying to have the wired earbuds on one hand and the cuff with clip on the other, but not getting zapped in the ears is totally worth it and I'm sure after using it daily, I will get used to it.

If you're new to pc building/pc upgrading, don't hesitate to buy this. You might not need it but its better to be safe than sorry. Had it on the entire time I was installing a new cpu and cooler, didn't want to take any chances. -- I will say that the strap is a bit small. I had to take the velcro all the way off before being able to wrap it around my wrist. But my PC works now with no issues so it was a minor issue to deal with with a short time of usage. Very satisfied with my purchase

I was constantly experiencing static shocks during the winter, and it became a real concern. Not only was it uncomfortable, but I also worried that the static buildup could potentially affect the sensitive systems I work with. After using this product, the issue has been completely resolved. I recently embarked on a fitness regime that involved purchasing a new treadmill. I was full of enthusiasm and ready to reach my goals. I assembled my treadmill and was good to go. That is until I was delivered massive shocks each time I tried to adjust the speed in any way and was limited to the presets at either 4 mph or 7 mph. Want to go faster? ZAP! Want to go slower? ZAP! Want to stop? ZAAAAAAP! I would be flinching in anticipation before touching the dial because the shock therapy was super effective in conditioning my fear. I tried placing the treadmill on a mat and selecting workout clothes/shoes that were supposed to reduce static build up to no effect. I was still getting annihilated every time I used the treadmill. Then I found this wristband. I attached the clip to a metal point on the treadmill and worked up the courage to give it a go. I nervously reached out to the dial and after a few long moments of mentally preparing myself for the pain of another massive shock, I grabbed it. To my great surprise, there was nothing. No jolt running up my fingers -- only pleasant nothingness. It was delightfully uneventful. It took me awhile to get over the shock programming before I could touch the dial with confidence, but now I have nothing preventing me from getting my cardio in. TLDR: This strap is hero.

I use this on my arm while walking on my treadmill at my desk. Without it the static electricity was causing my monitors to flick in and off. It’s JUST long enough for me to put it on my arm and attach to the steel frame of the grounded treadmill. No more static shocks. Just wish it was a little longer, but manufacturers don’t think about edge case uses like this. They think only people working on electronics use these.
