No frills and great value for the money. It works perfectly with my online ESD monitor and ESD mat setup. It’s super adjustable and stretchable, so it doesn’t feel tight or choke your wrist. Fits a wide range of sizes and feels almost weightless while wearing it. Simple, reliable grounding strap. Great buy.

It's probably cope, but I use this to stop static electricity transfer when building or taking apart my PC. I wouldn't dare touch one without it, if only for the peace of mind. And for the price this is, the peace of mind I'm keeping my possibly $2000+ PC safe is priceless.

Perfect but the clip kept coming off. Now I need new clip

I attached the alligator clip to the screw coming out of a 120 outlet so I could be grounded the entire time while switching out my motherboard. I pulled this thing hard while on my wrist numerous times and it never came off through the entire process. I relied on it more than I should have and only touched bare metal on the IO shield a couple times so I have to say this thing worked great and fit snugly without ever needing adjusted or feeling like it was going to rip off. I am very impressed

Worth the cost as "insurance, installed two hard drives with no issues. Not sure if it saved those drives or not, but my first attempt was without a strap and neither installed drive worked. But those drives may have been fried in transit.

Bought this to replace a old one with no continuaty in the wire used it to replace some memory

Needed to update my laptop. Digging in to hardware does require precautions. This is simple insurance.

I use this on my arm while walking on my treadmill at my desk. Without it the static electricity was causing my monitors to flick in and off. It’s JUST long enough for me to put it on my arm and attach to the steel frame of the grounded treadmill. No more static shocks. Just wish it was a little longer, but manufacturers don’t think about edge case uses like this. They think only people working on electronics use these.
