This product in combination with a thermoregulator is great for anyone who has a greenhouse where they put their indoor plants in. The functionality of this fan is pretty straight forward and the air output, both hot and cold is superb. When it comes to the heat settings there are two types, low heat (I) and high heat (II). The low heat setting works amazingly in my opinion as it delivers a good amount of heat very quickly, about less than a minute. As for the high heat setting, well.. it is hot! Since I have a small plastic greenhouse, the low heat setting works the best for my needs.The thermoregulator helps turn on and off the fan when the temperature dips at a certain range. This fan is efficient because you don't have to waste energy waiting for the device to heat up. The cool air comes in the back end and hot air comes out the front at a quick time, lessening energy cost because you don't have to wait long for the device to produce warm air. Perfect for tropical indoor plants. I also want to mention I have my greenhouse outdoors so it can get chilly at night in California but, this thing saved my plants' life!!!In terms of build, it's super lightweight. I can carry it with one hand easily in addition to its portability. The extension cord is fairly long and sturdy. The fan does make a loud noise when turned on which is obvious and fair and definitely not a bother since its outdoors. The sound doesn't travel that far so, when outdoors its fairly quiet.I recommend this for anyone even if you are not using it for a greenhouse. The fan setting is simple and straightforward and lets you adjust the air output by adjusting the (+/-) dial on the right. Has amazing heat output or cool air output (turn the left dial to the picture of the fan) and is light, affordable, and a BEAST in performance!

I mean that this heater "blows" in a very negative way. The heater puts out very little heat, and the fan is not powerful enough to blow the heat more than about 2 feet. I honestly don't think this heater could warm a small coat closet. Also, the heater vibrates and rattles so much that it moves all over the place. I realize that a 1,500 watt heater can only put out around 5,000 BTUs no matter how "efficient" the manufacturer claims it is, but this heater is just terrible at moving the heated air around the room. I am going to return this heater, and purchase a Lasko, as that is a brand that actually works. I definitely cannot recommend this heater at all.

This little black-and-yellow space heater appealed to me because its of its utilitarian, industrial appearance. I assumed (and correctly so) that it would be sturdier than some other heaters with a sleeker more-decorative look. It puts out plenty of heat and yet draws relatively little electricity. In my old house, I was worried about blowing circuit breakers. So far, that has not happened. One other feature that I really like is that, even with the heat turned off, the fan in this unit can be left on to circulate air about the house.

The heater was kept indoor all the item, hardly ever moved. The item still looks brand new. Just sat in our basement and was only turned on when we were present, possibly 2-4 times week in winter (Nov-Feb) - so at most 60-70 times. Today the heater element stopped working and only the blower wokrs. For something that wasn't used very often and never mistreated you would expect a longer lifetime :-(

The heater functions ok but It puts out very little heat and is not practical for use unless you are trying to heat up a 4x4 space. Waste of money.

I bought this for a back-up heater for my small (6' x 8') greenhouse in N American zone 7b. Its heat output feels similar and graphing the response to it cycling on and off shows that it is keeping up much like the older unit it was bought to back up. It has supplanted the older heater primarily because of its simplicity and ruggedness. Given power cuts with snow and ice, the older heater would not pick-up heating from where it was set from before the power cut. This one is much simpler and simply start heating upon resumption of power. While it does have an adjustable thermostat control I have it being fed from a wifi-enabled thermostat. The theremostat controls the temperature with the unit's own thermostat control simply back-stopping any overheating issues. Excellent value for money in a small package.

I’ve had product for approximately 10 months. It had been adequate for small space heating but not enough for a screened patio area unless sitting 3’ from you and then the fan blown warm air will dry your eyes out. The heating selector knob quit working today and no way to repair as stem attached to plastic knob is stuck and can’t be turned even with pliers which had initially led to stripping of the knob insert. Removing top control panel did not allow a fix. Their store has no support link so forget about replacement.

This heater worked pretty good until I tried to turn it off just now and the knob to turn it off just spun and spun. I couldn’t turn it off. I pulled the knob controller up and it came off easily. It seemed it got over heated (not even after using it 10 mins) and something inside melted the knob. It’s cooled down but I still can’t get the knob to work. I can turn it on and off by plugging it in and unplugging it but that doesn’t seem safe. Bummer. I had it less than 2 years.
