Exactly as expected
Slightly greasy from whatever oil was in it but it wasn’t something that’s a deal breaker. It came well packaged and exactly why I was looking for.

Perfect starter bar
I love this bar. Wish the green was more neon but the color is still cool and it pops. Didnt realize this one was only rated for 500lbs but im pleased with it so far ill probably get the red in the 1200 lb capacity. The knurling feels great in the hands. 28mm is the perfect sizing. Would definitely buy again. Packaging came perfect no scratches no dents

A pretty good starter barbell
The bar arrived to me double boxed with the outer box torn open. Luckily the inner cylindrical tube was intact and protected the bar with no damage. The knurling on the bar is a decent medium hill that has a good bite without cutting into your hand or fingers. The knurling feels comfortable pulling or pushing and fits the hand nicely. Sleeves rotate fine on bushings. The chrome is a cheap bright decorative chrome, as opposed to hard chrome youʻd find on higher quality bars, and it has chipped off already after only a few weeks of lifting. See the photo of the sleeve with the chrome flaked off. This has not caused any problems or rusting yet, but just disappointing to see. Overall, for the price this is not a bad product for a first barbell, and should last a while until I upgrade to a power bar maybe later this year. If you are new to lifting and are not sure if you will pursue it for the long haul, this bar will certainly serve you well with years of good service. However, because of the lower tensile strength and lower quality chrome, I would do more research and find a name brand bar with better knurling and coating/stainless steel if you are a serious lifter.
