My kids are 9 and 11, and they loved using the cards to create the pattern suggested as well as making their own creations. I am also a therapist and use that with younger kids. It is a great way to practice their cognition and storytelling. It has been very sturdy.

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He enjoyed playing with it and said they had a similar one at his preschool. Copying specific examples from the cards was too challenging for him but he enjoyed creating simple patterns. Should be even more engrossing for older kids.

In these days of technology prevalence at early ages, this is an awesome activity for young children! Encourage fine motor development, exercising little fingers, and creativity with this clever yet basic skill toy. Built well, the nails are just the right height, smooth, and sturdy. Be brave, parents! Buy a toy that doesn’t plug in, need to be charged or require batteries! Have fun!

I really like this sturdy wooden board with round metal nails on it. The number of lines and rows is a BIG plus. Very educational for my 3 year old to make shapes, recognize shapes, and understanding the change of shapes. I recommend this to everyone who has a preschooler.

I love this I do wish the cards were larger
