I love this! I mix a scoop every morning into my homemade plain whole milk kefir and I can really feel the energy boost from it along with a general feeling of knowing that I am doing a really healthy, sustainable, and affordable thing to improve my overall health. Mixing it with the kefir and then going through my morning routine and then coming back to eat breakfast about 30 minutes later really helps your gut absorb all the probiotics in the kefir and helps feed your gut with all the healthy aspects of the beetroot powder. Do two really good things for yourself at once! Taste is great, and I don't have anything bad to say about that at all since I like beets anyways. I also love how Nutricost doesn't add any sweetness or anything else into it since I was looking for a pure organic beetroot powder without anything else that is unnecessary. Will definitely keep this as part of my daily morning routine for many, many years to come!

Packed well with a measuring cup. Does not mix easily with water. Taste is ok.

I was excited about getting this order. First of all just to set a couple things straight, there's another review saying how disappointed they were that the container came only half full. The reason behind that is because after packaging and transport the powder becomes compressed. Once I got the big sized container, I shook it up and opening, it was nearly full as you can see by the picture. The second thing to debunk is that it doesn't smell like dirt, it smells like beets. Now when you first put the powder in water, it does have a slight taste of dirt. But if let the water and powder sit for a few minutes, the liquid grows a very dark color and indeed tastes like beets. Now I'm excited about seeing the effects of having extra energy. I'll let you know.

The powder is ok but messy, IMO. It does help to calm down. But I put the rest in capsules and take 2 "OO" (The biggest size capsule) at night before bed. Recently the nurse measured the BP and the top number was 120. How nice. I really can't or don't think with the bottom number. It is a joy to have it 120. I highly suspect the Beet Root Powder in the capsules was instrumental especially since I've been taking them for weeks and weeks. Great company and great product.

I was a little skeptical that a beet based product could be unflavored. As evidenced in the pictures, the product is still very much red colored. I would not say this is 'unflavored' but rather a more neutral beet/fruity flavor. I was hoping to use it in my coffee, but it makes your coffee red, and it does have a flavor that contrasts the coffee (even with flavored creamer). I'm not sending it back because it should be usable in other drinks like fruit drinks or sports/energy drinks.
