I bought these to use in my capsule maker. I originally purchased another kind and it was a disaster. Could have been user error on my part but either way, most of it went into the trash. So far I have made 3 sets of 100 capsules and have only lost maybe 5 total. I have not noticed any squashed or damaged capsules so far and have had an easy time separating them to fill in my capsule maker. I would definitely buy these again! It is so nice being able to fill my own capsules as I can control what I put in them and how much. They are easy to swallow and I feel they are of good quality.

THIS BRAND IS GREAT QUALITY AND OFFERS MANY SIZES OF CAPSULES. EASY TO LOAD AND CLOSE HALFS. HOWEVER BE VERY CAREFUL TO FIND A WAY TO SEE THE SIZES IN COMPARISON CAUSE IT'S HARD TO TELL FROM THE WEB PICTURE.

We like the quality and quantity for the price. This is a second order for us as they help with chalky pills.

So one of my dogs has cancer and the veterinary oncologist has asked me to administer the chemo pills because the dog is quite anxious and can barely get through a vet appointment even with anxiety meds. They gave me all sorts of warnings about administering the chemo, such as wearing gloves and making sure she doesn't spit it out and that it doesn't make contact with anything. So I had to approach the situation with a lot of caution. She also has other pills and supplements that she has to take daily including daily prednisone. Well after a few days of daily pills she got quite good at spitting out the pills about 1/3 of the time. This made me nervous about administering the chemo pills. We have a second dog and I have children so I really was concerned about these chemo pills being in contact with anything and I started to research ways I could best administer these pills and make sure they don't come back up. These capsules were one of the methods that I had found and people suggested that they would be good to mask the flavor of really bad tasting pills like prednisone and that they were also great for combining smaller pills and having only one thing to swallow instead of two. So I decided to give them a try. I ordered the size 1 and size 0 capsules. The size 0s ended up being a good size. I couldn't go bigger because she's kind of a small dog. I've been using these for about a week now and they have been great. I was able to combine tonight's pills from seven items to only four. That means only four times that I have to shove things down my dog's throat and I know she will appreciate that. I also know she won't hate the flavor of the prednisone because she can't taste it. Now I didn't count the capsules so I can't tell you if there were really a thousand in the bag but the bag seemed quite full. Also I couldn't spot a single broken one they all look great. I haven't broken a single capsule even though I am inserting some jagged broken in half pills and tablets. You can see in the photo that they're a little bit misshapen from how things have been shoved inside but they still work well and have not broken despite, what I consider, some abuse. Last time I had to administer the chemo, I used these capsules and was able to combine two smaller pills into one of these capsules and they went down easily and with no fighting back. I highly recommend this product if you have a pet with any of the same issues we've been having. I could also see using these for human use. Lord knows I have plenty!

The seal is a bit weaker pressed capsules when done by hand, and they can stretch a little easily. But they are great for making medications easier to swallow, which I got them because I have had difficulty with some of my medications. They do get a little stick when holding them, quicker than other capsules, but they don't loose any structural integrity. The size 0 ones run a little big and can be a bit harder to swallow than size 1, but not by that much. They smell and don't really taste like anything, maybe a little bit like fiber but that's it.

Good product. I use Vegan gel capsules for different products such as turmeric, as they do not contain pork. These are quality capsules and easy to fill.

I believe this brand to be as good as they get.Unfortunately, it took a lot longer to receive than I anticipated.
