Pixie Fairy Coloring Book

This is a coloring book of 24 fairy designs. The designs span from child-like to more adult figures and have a nice level of detail but not what I would call intricate. These are designs to have fun with and either color as is or try out some blending skills. The cover art is not a single design in the book but rather three separate designs of one each of the fairies.The designs are printed on one side of thin white non-perforated paper that is typical for books published by CreateSpace. Some of the designs merge into the binding. The binding is glued rather than sewn and you will lose some portions of some designs if you remove them from the book. I found that the book is easy to lay flat if you are willing to slightly break the spine. That is how I will use the book rather than cut out pages.All of my markers bleed through and my gel pens either bleed through or leave a distinct shadow on the back of the page. My India ink pen fared the best but still left a slight shadow at the back of the page. My coloring pencils work well with the paper and behave as I expect depending on whether they are hard or soft lead. I will use a piece of chipboard or heavy paper behind the page I am working on so I don't ruin the following page with leaking ink. In the comments section below, I will provide a list of the coloring mediums I used for testing this book.While I could wish for thicker, perforated paper, it appears that this is the quality that comes from CreateSpace (which is an Amazon company.) What I really like about the CreateSpace is it is a way that independent artists can get their work self-published. That way, I get a huge choice of design styles albeit with not the best paper.

This coloring book is a little basic, fairies are your typical fairy, There is some detail , but not as much as I would have liked. I really wish the illustrators of coloring books would let you see more than the front cover, back cover and maybe a page or two. I don't know about you, but that would go a long way in helping me decide on my purchase. It would be perfect for the expensive books. Sometimes I want the book, but I can't see enough of it to make a decision on whether or not to purchase it It can be a bit frustrating to get the book, and discover there are only a few pages that hold your interest.

This is a very cute fairy coloring book. The pics are easy to color, nothing too intricate. A great addition to my collection!

The pictures in this book are so adorable!! Paper thickness also is fine. Though the pictures are great, the backgrounds are too blank. Having a background would make the picture stand out more. It's OK I still love the book!!! I'll enjoy coloring all the pages!!

Cute designs. Definitely not the most difficult I've seen but great for when I want something that isn't too complicated.

Simple and easy coloring book for all ages. I don't like the complex ones as they take days to complete or are to intricate. The simple way is the best way.

I was not sure what to expect on this book since I saw no samples or reviews on it, am glad to add it to my fairy coloring books collection though. The drawings are very diverse, sometimes in different drawing styles as well. Just a lovely fairy coloring book!

I admire Sara Burriers artwork, especially her faries very much, she is an awesome artist! Love every piece of her work.I love to have this coloring book to see the lines exactly.But if you want to paint on it, unfortunately the quality of the Book is not that good. Thin paper and also the print is not good. Please, Sara, find another way for this or a publishing house ;-)

j'ai bien aimé ce coloriage. les dessins sont adorables, il n'y a des dessins que sur le recto, donc si ça traverse ce n'est pas grave. Attention toutefois les dessins ne sont pas pleins de détails, comme par exemple enchanted de selina fenech (sublissime) mais moi ça me convient parfaitement

De jolis illustrations de fées. Très mignon.
