pH Meter with Ph Electrode and Batteries, pH Tester for Water Milk Cheese Soil Food

This is definitely been the most accurate pH tester I have used from several different ones that I have Purchased

The 1st one I purchased was a year and a half old when I broke it. The second one I purchased started to leak from the tip about a month after I got it but still a quality product.

The first unit arrived broken. The 'glass tip' is very delicate, and I could not imagine using this outside for 'soil sampling'. The replacement arrived undamaged. However, there was no instruction on calibrating the unit.The brief instructions listed here in the Amazon product listing is too vague. What does, "pH 6.86(pH7.00) buffered solution phosphate' mean in terms of obtaining such a solution.Furthermore, what does "Immerse the electrode in pH4.01 or pH9.18(pH10.0) the buffer solution of borax.", If one is using borax, has a pH of 9.1, so, how does one get to pH of 4.01? And then the kicker,"4. After about one minute, until the display shows "4.01" or "9.18"("10.0"). ".Waiting a 'minute' for a device to stabilize is rather long for a device that is supposed to be 'handheld', regardless of how the pH of 4.01 is achieved.The first thing I tried was distilled water, and noticed the long settling time, and 'out of the box' whacked reading of far below a pH 7.0 for 'by definition' distilled water.I'm checking on when I received this product and hopefully I am within the return time. If not, it was a wasted $50.

The first one arrived broken but Amazon quickly replaced. The second one just doesn’t work no matter how many times I calibrate it. I think the only way to get truly accuracy of ph is to step up and spend a couple hundred. I’m returning.

Recieved ph meter & the glass probe already had a crack in it & all the conductive solution leaked out.Revision: Broken meter was replaced promptly & is rock solid.

No compren esto. Es imposible de calibrar, no da lecturas exactas, puedo comparar con un Ph meter digital que tengo y este es una porquería. Da lecturas súper erróneas sobre los líquidos de calibración. Not waste your money

The pH meter needs to be recalibrate EVERY use and is off by 0.5 units. This is unacceptable since it means the instrument has a significant drift in its operation and accuracy. I would not trust the results even immediately after re-calibration.
