It’s a nice design and good for a beginner. This is only my second embroidery piece and I was able to complete it without much trouble as it calls for just 3 or 4 basic types of stitches. I like the little scissors that comes with it, but I used a different hoop that I already had. The one in the kit may be good for displaying it once done, but it looked like it would be hard to get the fabric on and off, so I didn’t try it.My only complaint is that I ran out of thread in 3 colors, but had extra in several others, so they need to adjust the way they figure out how much you need for the pattern. If you buy this, be prepared to either improvise and change which colors you use, or save your thread scraps so you can go to the store and match the colors to buy more. That’s what I did. Spending a couple extra bucks on thread wasn’t a huge deal, but it was kind of inconvenient.All in all, it’s still worth the price, especially for a beginner. I made enough mistakes to learn from it, but not so many that I wanted to chuck it at the wall and quit. That’s a success in my book!

I used to embroider all the time when I was younger. Got this for cat-sitting. Received on Saturday and done by Wednesday. Fun and simple to do. Washes up well. The instructions could be more robust.

This was a lot fun to work on. If they would have included a single strand more of each piece of yarn I think I would have zero negative comments. Had to swap some colors on the design to make it all work and ended up using a similar thread I found at Walmart to finish the French beans. Overall, would recommend. Maybe stock up on a few skeins of yarn from a local craft store just to have for these types of projects in case you run out of what is supplied.

Rated a 4 only because I had to return it. It was a Perfect set and good size but the pattern was barely visible on canvas and I had to return.

I changed the color of one of the leaves , made it lighter instead of darker than the other ones to look like a newer leaf, and changed the vase border to a darker blue. I also used a different hoop. Really love how it turned out!

Beautiful result with easy to follow directions. Kit has everything you need and finished mine approx 6 hours start to finish. This was my first exposure to embroidery and I have already ordered another kit from the same seller! Only negative/reason for 4 stars was due to thread/floss amounts. At least two colors I was down to the last couple inches and barely able to finish and some colors I had a lot left over. As you might notice in the photo, I did switch out a few colors to customize a bit. Also LOVE the “wood” hoops with the kits that offer those and those are actually the 2 I have purchased. Plan to give as Christmas gifts. Overall a great kit and can’t wait to start my next one! 🪡

This beginners kit is very well put together. They even organize the threads for you, as well as including scissors, a hoop, and a threader. However, the instructions are written by someone with a very poor grasp of English. I have embroidered for years, but if I had to rely on these directions, the kit would be lying in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. If you're thinking of buying this kit for a true embroidery beginner, don't.

Prior knowledge of embroidery a help, translations into English of how to do the stitches is somewhat tricky! Everything required is included in the kit, and of good quality.
