Buckle difficult for arthritic fingers

It has a velcro and then a buckle over that. It's a pretty easy buckle if the fit is loose enough.

will my cat easily be able to slip out?

We have an 11 lb cat and we get the xxs for her. We tried the xs but it was way to easy for her to back out of. She can back out of the xs but not easily. If she starts backing out of it we just calm her down, so she isn't trying to get out of it. Only had 2 escapes in 2 years with xxs.

The buckle is defective and it's past the 30 days . I would like to exchange it. The buckle snapped on one side. What can be done now?

Is it ok to use for my puppy with an 8 in. Chest?

Don’t know. Its your puppy but if you look at the sizing, the smallest caters for 9.5” chest. 9.5 - 8 = 1.5”. It will thus be loose. However, puppies grow quickly.
