Works Perfectly
I purchased this to bring a blue patent leather beg back to life and it worked. The bag looked new after.I used the sponges on the stick to apply.Be careful with your work area. Put down newspaper or plastic. Make sure to use away from furniture or anything that it can damage. It is liquid blue dye.Definitely worth the purchase.

Maybe the best customer service....ever!!!!!
I've never "dyed" anything and was out of my element but that's never stopped me. I bought some leather shoes but they sent me the wrong color...bright white. Instead of sending back I thought I might salvage the buy and dye them. Went on Amazon and saw many good reviews of Angelus so I bought a bottle of blue. Well, the shoes turned out to be a color which didn't really work for me so I sent a letter asking if there was anything I could do to save the project. Ludi responded and this ended up in a dozen emails back and forth trying to figure out a solution. 12 emails for an $8 bottle of dye!!! I couldn't get the car dealership to respond to me like this for a $48,000 truck. Until I was satisfied Ludi was going to keep trying. I've used this in teaching my staff at work what customer service is all about.....and yes, the product is great but know which product to use

Effective, easy to use, but darker than shown
Easy to use and effective leather dye, but the actual color is closer to a navy rather than a light blue. Note that, after dying, leather will appear purple with metallic streaks at first, but applying a leather conditioner (and neutral shoe wax, if desired) will correct the color to a true blue and reduce the metallic shine.

The color was supposed to be light blue. It is more like an electric blue..
Product is easy to use but the color was not true.
