Works great. Exactly as it should. Affordable, durable, very light, about 12 inches long, easily magnified the solar light and concentrated it to a laser which cooked anything to over 1200 c.

Used it for a coding project where the text could not be magnified. Made it extremely easy to see smaller text.

I ordered these because it seems to me that whenever I need one to read small print when I'm out somewhere, I don't happen to have one in the bag that I'm carrying with me at the moment. So now I can stuff one in every bag I've got to have one at the ready whenever I need it. They do the job nicely. The text is bigger and more than clear enough for me to read whatever I need to read. I'm very nearsighted and I'm a contact lens wearer, and with my lenses in, reading small print is out of the question without either reading glasses or a magnifier. And frankly the magnifier fits it my purse much more easily than a bulky pair of reading glasses. So these are perfect for when you're on the go. I recommend keeping each one in the little plastic sleeve it comes in to protect them from scratches because to offer a 10 pack at that price, naturally the material they're made of is not as substantial as you'd find in magnifiers of this type that are sold individually. But they're still a great deal if you're looking to keep multiples stashed in various places so you don't have to go looking for them.

So I bought this 42 purposes 12 be able to start a fire with one of them and the other to be used in an office to read the smaller fine print which it does a great job at both but do be warned it will absolutely start a fire on accident if you are not well aware of where the Sun is and how you are holding the thing I accidentally burnt a hole straight through my pants with it because I wasn't paying enough attention while holding it outside. So if you're planning on using one of these as a fire starter I will let you know right away that it works fantastically.

Really quite something, I would say this is quite a modern marvel and I'm amazed I have only just recently discovered what a Fresnel lens is and that it exists. Even auto correct red-lined the word Fresnel while writing this review, goes to show how unheard of they are! Anyways this thing lit up GREEN grass the first time I tried it in full sunlight. Wow. Probably the single best fire starter for survival I've ever came across, and the possibilities for other uses are up to your imagination. Super lightweight, super cheap, VERY durable and bendable, and incredibly powerful, so much that you really have to make sure not to leave this lying around on a sunny day. Definitely not a toy for kids or carelessness. All in all exceeded my expectations and really amazing little device!

Main reason I got it. In 71 degree weather, it lights up a chip pile in a flash. I will be using it to make a solar still for water and so far it looks promising with one more added. Nice add to the trailer for starting fires. You won't be disappointed in that area but as a magnifier, it is a little less than desirable. It is ok on print for instructions, books but finer print like on a USB charger, (what I tested it on) it isn't clear enough to make out the info. Still worth the money to me.

One inch of a corner cracked and broken. Will try and use it anyway. Should have better packaging for mailing.

Clear, great magnification, good thickness, easy to use for computer screen, books newspaper, or anything. Much better field of vision than a magnifying glass. If you'll pardon the pun, very Handy! Other possible uses: Heating food or starting a fire with focused light from the sun. Would certainly provide more light to a solar cell, increasing the solar cell output.

Perfectly made. Does it what supposed to do. Helping the kid for her science project. Awesome magnifying sheet for inspecting surface damages in Engineering domain. Excellent fire starter too.

Premium Fresnel Lens 8 Pack Set. Large Full Page 8.3" x 11.75" Sheets with Credit Card Size, Bookmark Magnifier was all that was promised. Each one of the sizes was useful for different purposes. Even the little credit card size version to put in your wallet made reading small print easy and it even worked to light newspaper and kindling on fire in less than 60 seconds.

I bought the 8.3" x 11.75" Large 3X Fresnel Lens Full Page Magnifier, one for myself, one for my sister, primarily for reading books, prescription bottles, and ingredient panels on products in stores because I have some visual difficulties arising from Lyme Tick Eye Disease. I had NO idea there were so many other great uses for a Fresnel lens which appeal to survivalist/preppers like my sister and me! You can start a fire with it, much like you would using a hand-held magnifying glass, only faster and better! It is extremely useful for reading paper maps on driving trips. It is durable, flexible, and easy to store. I can also use it in my organic garden, to inspect my seedlings, and check my vine fruits for any destructive insects. I plan to buy more this spring for my 3 school-age grandchildren. They can use it to explore nature (insects, leaves, plants, flowers), for their viewing their stamp collections, and for examining fossils or seashells they find on the beach. Makes a great gift for recipients of ANY age! RECOMMENDED!

It just arrived in the mail now and I just unboxed it..Super product. Very neat packing and good shipping time. I used the 2 day shipping i believe, Reached me before time. Loved the product a lot. Top quality and no issues at all. Just as advertised. I have added this to my wallet already, handing out a few to family and friends. Very good quality product. Definitely worth the time and money. I may just end up ordering again from here if I need the stuff... It's not flimsy and at the same time it's not too thick. So what I'm saying is it fits just like a debit/ credit card in the wallet. Do not keep it without a cover over it as any lens will develop scratches as time goes on. you could use a thin cover like a small envelop of some sort to keep it safe if you like.

I received my order, & I'm so happy with my Full Page Magnifier. I know I made the right choice. Now I can curl up with my books, & not have to worry about the weight, nor moving a smaller magnifier around. I even use it to look in the tv guide, to see what's on. More than happy with my purchase
