Based on our ages, state of health and nutrition, we all have different thickness of nails, different nail brittleness, and different hand strengths for gripping and cutting, and it is always best to cut your nails following a bath or shower, or even just soaking the feet prior will improve the process. When the nails are softer, your will get a much better cut, as hard brittle nails are hard to trim well. This applies to all scissors or clippers.
