Fantastic Stuff!
I knew someone who was arrested and prior to appearing before the judge, he smeared a bunch of this stuff inside the back of his underwear. During his court appearance, he grabbed a handful and began to eat it. The judge declared him not guilty by reason of insanity. This is some fantastic stuff!

A very different than the soybean paste I used at home but it satisfied my need for Korean food while at college. Very salty but I made it work by balancing the flavor of the soybean with water and vegetables when making doenjang jjigae. It is honestly a ripoff for the price but at that point I was paying for the convenience.

This may be an acquired taste, but if you like regular miso you will probably like this. It's a great last minute choice when you're looking for a quick soup but it also adds great flavor to recipes that require am umami accent.
