Great for Cats
I wish I could upload the photo, but I don't have the means. When I do, I will post another review. What I cans say is make sure you use the long screws and if it's drywall, go ahead and drill a hole and place the plastic piece into the drywall before screwing in the long screws provided. Make sure it's screwed into a stud. These steps need to be sturdy because cats who love to climb high (not all cats do), they will use them, bounding up and down like a mountain goat. And some cats way more than others. Mine is about 11.5 pounds. My cat loves her stairway ( I bought 2 sets) as they lead to the very top part of my closet which is separated from the bottom part by doors. Old fashioned for storage, but I leave one side door open for her. I am planning on buying a few more to put close to other places she loves to get too, but isn't allowed to get to because the route is too dangerous yet, heavily laden book shelves etc. All I know is these are sturdy. And, like anything else installed on a wall, will last a long time if installed properly. I had to screw into lath and plaster walls, very old style, but so far they have been holding well, I used a stud finder, and went for every 16 inches from the edge to find them. I could feel the screw as it drilled into a long piece of wood, so it was a stud, not a lath. In the 1930's when my house was built, the army corp of engineers were using studs of real size 2 x 4's behind the lathe and plaster every 16 inches on center and happily they are the ones that built my very sturdy house. So I am very happy with these products from the Fukumara Company. This company seems very aware of feline behavior and needs and they obviously love cats because their products show a level of sturdiness and safety I haven't found elsewhere. Very Very Happy, and so is my cat!

Fukumaru makes the best stuff!
Every item we’ve purchased from the Fukumaru brand has been top notch. I’m so impressed by the quality of each piece, even down to the boxes and product cards that come with each one. The instructions were clear and precise, which made assembly a breeze. I really appreciate that they include extra hardware, too. Out of the many pieces purchased, we had zero issues with the quality or stability of them and I’m confident our cats will get many years of use out of them. These steps are sturdy! I appreciate that the holes for the bolts are recessed so the stairs sit flush with the wall and without damaging the wall. They were very easy to assemble. Even our larger cats can traverse them without issue thanks to the size of each step.

Kitty loves them
These are perfect for our climbing kitty... she took to them right away. They're easy to assemble and hang with basic tools.Interestingly we bought two (one left-to-right and one right-to-left) and the "right-to-left" is reversible to mount either way, while the "left-to-right" can only be mounted one direction. They work perfectly for our wall though!

Not bad
I like the steps, they are sturdy (as long as you don't screw both sides to the drywall using anchors). The install is not the best... we have drywalls, so we had to screw one side to the stud, and use anchors for the other screw, otherwise if I'd used anchors for both sides, they wouldn't be strong enough to hold the weight.Figuring out what anchors to buy was a challenge... so if you have drywalls, think twice before you buy...For size reference, the cat in the picture is only 6lb. The steps hold 10-11lb cats well (I'm sure bigger cats would be fine), they just might miss a step or two and slip trying to run up and down fast, since the steps are not very large. I don't think I will order them again due to more complex install to the drywall and their smaller size, but they look good, and do the job.

Kitty love it
My kitty baby Elena loves these cat stairs and all the other products we bought from this company. They are solidly constructed and easy to put up. We set up a whole cat wall in the basement and these steps lead up to a basement window where she can sit and watch all the birds. I put bird seed outside the window to attract them, and my cat is very happy and entertained. My cat is 2 years old and she can pretty much fly up these at a full sprint when she sees a bird from across the room. 10/10, highly recommend.

Great product!
This is really well made and easy to assemble:) Our cats love it and it has added more enjoyment and interest to their daily lives. The only thing you may want to do is add some sealant or sturdy glue around the base of it against the wall because it kind of wobbles on the wall with the cat’s weight if you don’t. Super sturdy product and exactly what we were looking for.

Fun product but what is with the smell?
Has anyone else noticed the smell with these products? I ordered the steps, hammock and other climbing parts and the smell is overwhelming. The box said the wood is treated with wood oil but it smells extremely strong. It's the first thing I smell when I walk into the room. I have had it up for over a week now and I was hoping it would fade but it hasn't yet :(. I am really hoping it's nothing that is bad for my cats to be inhaling or licking from paws. I don't want to take the stuff down but I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions?Update- A few days after writing this review I applied food grade wood cutting board sealer to the ropes (since I knew it would get on my cats paws) and it worked like a charm. It sealed whatever smell was coming off the ropes and the smell went away pretty much the next day.

Can be used on hollow drywall
If using on drywall, don’t waste time with the screws and anchors that come with the unit, I made a lot of holes with those. Buy the Ez anchor drywall kit and follow the instructions below from a buyer of those anchors:Vin Diego5.0 out of 5 starsVerified PurchaseThread 1st before installReviewed in the United States on March 4, 2020These are the only anchors I've used for years. They hold the most weight if installed correctly. Before putting anything in the wall, make sure to push in and thread the screw. After going in and out smoothly, pivot the bar back straight and slide it back into place. When screwing the base into the drywall, make sure you don't tighten past being flush with the surface of the wall for maximum support. Before mounting anything, insert the screw and tighten till you feel the pivot bar is snug against the inside of the wall. The screw will not slide out at all if you pull on it. Then take the screw out and mount what you want. When following these steps, I haven't had any problems. Also, another pro tip, if you no longer need the anchor, all you have to do is push the base of it into the wall a few millimeters (put a screwdriver in and lightly tap the handle with your palm a few times). When you do that, it will take just a little putty to patch it up without dealing with a hole going all the way through.
