Lightphoria Deluxe 10,000 Lux Energy Light Lamp

Item broke after 4 months of use.

The Lightphoria Energy Light is a great way to combat SAD or to help revive you with energy by imitating the sun. Now, you won't get Vitamin D or other health benefits, but you also won't get harmful UV either. This is just to reproduce the light. Compared to the previous  Lightphoria Energy Light  model, this one has a more attractive design so that it doesn't look like an eyesore sitting out on your table. The light is also not as harsh due to the diffuser over the front. You can no longer adjust the intensity, but you can still set the timer in 15 minute increments. Overall, I think this is a nice improvement over the previous model and would recommend! I received a discount on this item for my unbiased feedback.UPDATE: Turned light on and the light did a frying sound then burned out. Toast! This things going back.UPDATE 2: Manufacturer sent me a replacement and its working well, as described in my initial review. 4 stars for the item, 2 for reliability, so an average of 3 stars.

I had a light that I ordered which was rather expensive but the light used a plug that you could remove. I ended up breaking the thing and losing the cord. So I saw this light and researched it and I ordered it. I like that it has the cord attached so it can't be removed. It sits nicely on my bed stand and that's where it stays. If you want something portable, this light isn't it. I needed something permanently next to my bed for the long winters when I can't even get up.The light works. Is it a cure all? No. Move to Arizona if you want that. Does it help? Yes. Along with megadoses of vitamin D, fish oil, and a good multi vitamin, you can use this light to help your mood. I can't live without it. It helps me in the depressing long days when I miss summer and need that extra light to fake out my body. It's the strangest thing, but it works.

Update 3.2.2020I’ve had this light for 4 years now and even though there were typos on the box it has served its purpose well. I haven’t used it every day but it has survived a move and small children over all these years and that’s impressive. I’ve changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars which are well earned.Previous Review:I'll update this review once I've used the light for a few weeks but I'm already concerned. The headline, which is on the FRONT of the box, reads "Summer sunshine all your round." It's a small error, I know. It's just that if something like that is missed/overlooked what does that tell me about the equipment contained inside? Perhaps it is absolutely no reflection on the quality of the product contained within and I certainly hope that is true. Updates to come.

I suffer from SAD, and this light seems to help my symptoms. It is really bright. It has a nice timer on the front. It is lightweight and easy to move from room to room. It does not make any noise, as in buzzing or humming. I would recommend this to a friend.I purchased this at a reduced price for a fair review.
