Has anyone used this on long trips 10+ hours?

My wife used it everyday before she got her pump to hold her insulin pens and such. It kept it all cool for over 12 hrs. She would take it out of the fridge in the morning and put in back in in the evening and the cooling pad was still cool when she put it in. I hope this helps.

Is there a way to get extra ice packs?

It’s hard to put 2 pens and 2 ice packs in this case

Can I my emgality pen fit?

Not familiar with an emgality pen -- DIMENSIONS 7.4 x 3.1 x 1.1 inches of case My husband uses it to store two ozempic pens.

What is the material on the ouside made of?

It is a sturdy nylon mesh type material. Holds up really well to the normal wear and tear of day to day stuff. My wife uses hers daily when she goes to work.
