This is such lovely quality, one of the nicest silk pillow cases that I have used. The closure is a zip which I wasn't too keen on at first sight, but for practicality sake, it actually keeps the pillow case on straight. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The scrunchie was lovely too.

I think I now own around 6 of these pillowcases - the range of colours from Alaska Bear allows an easy match to a range of bedding colours.Better skin, not to mention fewer lasting creases in the mornings and also better hair.They do seem expensive as a one off purchase, but using less hair and skin products mean they pay for themselves

I had been looking at getting a silk case for the longest time. Saw the great reviews here alongside the great price and thought, why not. So glad I got this case. It’s exactly as described, came nicely packaged. It’s super soft as expected. Immediately noticed a difference after the first use the next day my hair was less tangled. Haven’t noticed a difference on my skin yet… but I do know that it’s 100x better than my usual cotton case and it feels less harsh on my skin.Sadly, I was missing my hair tie. Very sad about that, judging by the quality of the case, I think it would have been awesome. Great customer service from the seller to resolve this. I did notice that the case is too big on my pillow despite it being a standard size fit, so should have fit my standard pillow. I have to fold it over at one side. I turn in the night so I feel like the case twists and dislodges my pillow if that makes sense. I also really dislike the zip feature but because the case is big I can fold the zip part. I do think overall that this case provides value for money. I have actually purchased another to give my sizer as a gift, I would recommend this case.

Bought these based on reviews. They are okay, they have nice feel however I didn't notice a huge difference to my hair or skin after sleeping all night (didn't reduce the frizziness as much as it declares - this is after a few weeks). After first use, I left in a bowl of cold water with detergent then washed on the silk setting on the washing machine and they came out fine. Will continue to use them but won't be buying more. What I did like, you got 2 matching hair scrunchies so they will come in handy.

This silk pillowcase is very reasonably priced compared to other ones out there. It’s extremely comfortable to sleep on and has definitely reduced my acne. I hand washed it with a little woolite and it looks exactly the way it did when I bought it. Yeah, it’s a little more wrinkly, but it’s a pillowcase and gets wrinkly when you use it anyway.

I do not like this pillowcase. It is not smooth and soft. My hair has never looked worse. I'm going back to my old cotton pillowcase

The media could not be loaded.  It's a good product and is not as slippery as satin. You can pay around $10 for a satin pillowcase that will work well for your skin and hair, but the comfort from the silk of course is way better for me. I wash it by hand and let it dry hanging on a hanger, don't think it will be resistant to the washing and dryer machines.

This is my first Alaska Bear Silk pillowcase and I love it! Ordered soft pink and it is true to color. I always hand wash my silk pillowcases inside out in Woolite with cool water before using, roll up in a dry towel to remove water, and lay flat to air dry, usually smoothed out across the top of my ironing board - which gets more use for drying things then it does for ironing! This washed very nicely, no noticeable color bleeding, and dried with minimal wrinkles. Inside is done with basic but well-sewn seams and the hidden zipper runs smoothly. It is 19 momme mulberry silk but it is just as silky smooth and soft feeling against my skin as the higher momme silk pillowcases I own. I love how silk pillowcases really keep my fine hair tame and bedhead-free compared to other fabrics. The silk scrunchie I received was beige and a nice size with good elastic. I will definitely order this brand again for myself and will give as gifts to friends for the quality and reasonable price!
