Works perfectly and it’s real easy to use!

Great banana cutter . . but know it's JUST for bananas or something very soft. I thought it was for veggies like carrots, etc. but not strong enough. It was my own fault for the mixup for not paying attention. It was not deception on the seller.

Like this for slicing bananas. I like it so much I ordered more for Christmas gifts. This makes slicing bananas for the Dehydrator a lot easier and quicker.

Pretty useful, use bananas that are yellow with a little of green to keep the shape. You only need to rinse it if you get the bananas at the right ripe state.

This is an absolute must have kitchen gadget! I had heard of this banana slicing gadget through several different social media accounts and finally broke down and purchased one. Reason #1- Evenly spaced slices. This banana slicer will create evenly spaced slices of banana. I mainly use when I want to dehydrate or freeze dry banana. Making the slices the same width/diameter ensures that the whole batch I’m dehydrating or freeze drying comes out fully done. Prior to this I had to keep checking each batch and pick out undercooked slices or take out tray that were done sooner than the rest. Reason #2- Faster prep time I have noticed that the time it takes me to prep the banana slices has significantly been cut down. I used to hand slice each banana and as stated before I wouldn’t always get evenly sliced pieces. With this slicer I can easily slice up a banana in seconds! Quality of the gadget- The gadget has a plastic handle and stainless-steel blades. I will admit that I was skeptical at first that the blades wouldn’t bend or brake but using on a dozen separate occasions nothing has been bent out of place. I will be trying other types of soft fruits and veggies in the future. I don’t think hard fruits and veggies will work very well though. When it comes to cleaning I would recommend cleaning right after use. The food when dried on the blades can become difficult to remove.

This banana slicer is nice for cutting high quantities of bananas, we like to dehydrate them so this helps save a ton of time. The only cons are that you have to keep rinsing them off as you go otherwise they won’t cut as effectively, and washing it can be tricky as the blades are kind of sharp and I have accidentally cut myself before

It does exactly what you expect it to. Stick a pealed banana in the end and make perfect thin slices. While the handle is made from plastic, the slicing part is sharp metal. Don’t stick your fingers inside! I’ve found it can slice anything that’s thin like a banana. Small strawberries for instance. You might think it’s silly and expensive for what you get, but if you think outside the box, it’s really a good durable utility. Cleaning is quick, you won’t accidentally cut a knife into your hand holding the banana or other small foodstuffs. It does rely on your strength though. It may not be for the elderly or infirm.

This banana slicer is amazing on Fresh bananas. If you have frozen bananas, it is a little harder to slice, but that’s to be expected. I love the fact that it gives slices and works well dehydrating as all the slices done at the same time. This product is lightweight and easy to use and does not tie your hands out. It is sharp and well Constructed.
