Love purple heart wood!
Lovely pieces of wood, good cut quality, very little warping if any and the color is spot on beautiful! I made my sister a cutting board out of these pieces, the size was just right. If you are a wood working and enjoy the hobby its easy of use to turn these into works of are will be a simple project and you will get some beautiful results!

Its the real deal.
Great lumber. Got 2 good solid pieces, almost like whoever boxed it knew what they were doing in regards to choosing lumber. To all the folks complaining about the color or it being fake purple heart have to understand its a tropical wood. It may be a dull brown tone but as it absorbs sunlight the color will become more vibrant, and conversely over time it'll dull back down. Purple heart is like working with a very sensitive brick. Still cant believe you can buy lumber on amazon...what an age.

Very nice color, and a true hardwood
I used my cnc router to make a heart pendant out of this. It turned out great. Cuts nice and a beautiful purple all the way through. When cutting it turns to a grey shade, but the purple comes back. Really amazing. I will be getting more in the future

Beauty of the wood
I like that purple heart 💜 wood comes in various thickness. I order the 1/4 "& 3/4". My husband glued the two together sanded them and put a clear coat on. He uses them for stained glass bases. Will definitely order again. Jay Cline
