It does exactly what it needs to do, and it does it very well. The battery life lasts for months, the screen is clear and readable, the app is dead simple to use and shows historical data going back years, and it seems to be fairly accurate too. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a low-battery warning - if the battery dies and you haven't manually opened the Govee Home app and let the device upload its historical temperature data to your phone, you'll lose it and have a huge gap (up to months in my experience) in your historical data. Syncing data to your phone takes a few seconds (longer depending on how much there is to sync, of course). It's the perfect size to not get in the way or stand out, so it fits in nicely in living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.
