But...it is one of the BEST pads I have ever used! (Not sponsored). If you can get past the open flat issue, I'm sure you'll enjoy the paper quality and texture of the cover. **Q: Do alcohol markers bleed through to the other side of the same sheet?** A: Yes. Ohuhu and Copic markers both "ghost" onto the other side of the sheet. However, they do *not* bleed onto the next blank page. If you're looking for a completely ghosting-free sketchbook, Rendr sketchbooks are what you would want to use. But the Ohuhu one is a great value for the money. **Q: Would this work with arteza everblend markers? i have canson pro layout marker paper but the ink dries too fast for blending. i'm just being cautious.** A: Alcohol markers are alcohol markers, the brand doesn't matter. You can mix different brand markers on the same piece and it shouldn't make a difference. Some markers work better on different papers, of course, but just because it's an Ohuhu marker sketchbook doesn't mean you can't use other markers from different brands. The pages are perforated so when you storyboard you can nearly remove the pages and the paper is made for markers and pen so it's ideal for that. The quality is of supreme worth. The pages are quite thick, I have used watercolor light wash and it doesn't stain on back of the page. Although it is not that great for watercolor because it doesn't absorb very well, but you can manipulate the consistency of the paint to prevent staining on the back. I've used acrylic paint on it too, it works. It is ideal for graphite and charcoal sketches especially. The hardcover of the book is the best feature. I think the cost is worth the product here. It is somewhat pricey but at least it’s below 1k (from when I bought this)2. The texture of the paper is so smooth and the cover of this art book also has a lovely texture, for good grip I guess?3. Alcohol markers will bleed through this, so they’ve gives a transparent wobbly pad for you to make each piece beautifullyCons:As I mentioned above, specific medium of art supplies will bleed through the paper so if you don’t use the art pad then you will end up ruining the next page.
