6 Way Tower Extension Lead

I have several standard extension sockets and the one thing they have in common is they take up too much floor space. The other thing is that the different plugs (especially the transformer type plugs) can be awkward to fit in a certain way and leave the wires all over the place. Standard extension sockets can also be a problem if you have pets that like to go behind the furniture and risk lying on the electric sockets or worse! This AUOPLUS tower is ideal because it is vertical and cylindrical. It actually looks bigger in the pictures than it is, so to get an idea it is only 6 inches high and about 3.5 inches wide. So it actually saves a lot of space and can easily stand upright on a small table without looking out of place (see pictures). I really like the fact that the top and bottom tiers of sockets can be independently switched on and off by a switch on the side. There are 6 mains plug sockets arranged sensibly around the unit, along with 4 USB ports. Another great feature are the USB sockets which are the fast-charge type and each has an integrated Circuit to monitor the charging rate and prevent over-charging for smart phones, and other digital equipment. I have used mine with an iPhone and iPad and the devices have no issues whatsoever. I really like the USB features as I no longer have to use my long Apple charging mains to USB cables any longer. I can now leave the iPads charging on the table plugged directly into the AUOPLUS Safety features include a double pole switch to isolate the live and neutral when the switches are turned off. There is also an overload protector that shuts off power immediately to protect devices if an overload is detected. The unit supports 10Amps / 2.5KW / 2500 watts which should be more than ample. We have electric lift and rise armchairs with massage functions and Heat pads,and both these have large heavy adaptors build onto the plug that make it really awkward trying to fit into a standard extension if you have more than one of these to plug in. Because the AUOPLUS is circular, you have more options for arranging your plugs to meet your requirements without these getting in the way of other plugs. All in all a great space-saving design and the 4 USB ports which are now becoming a necessity these days make this a great idea.

Got this to enable us to tuck it away behind the TV so we could turn the extension lead off easily. This fitted the bill, sturdy, and able to turn off the mains and usb charger ports separately.

It was ok.but am on crutches at the moment.and i live on the ist floor.ghe driver left it on the ground floor.i call that lazy.but I got it.ok.thank you

It's in immediate use. Very good and well worth the money. In fact, it was very cheap.

The multi plug socket is very good , it has all the sockets I need and USB sockets, I have been using this for a long time with no problems ,

This is well made and not bulky, this has a power switch that switches the power on or off for the bottem powerpoints and another switch for the top power points, which is perfect for my needs. I dont want to leave everything on standby, its less noticable that a long white extention or white tower

this is a great item that saves alot of space and looks great too, will recommend!
