I hope that won't happen here, and so far, so good. There is plenty of true truffle flavor in this oil and it makes a great addition to pasta, etc. And it seems like a great value at desertcart's current price of well under $15. Recommended!!!

Made some amazing multi-cheese Mac & Cheese and drizzled some Truffle Oil over it...nice! The taste is subtle, as is the scent, but this is one of those things to try before you hang-it-up, or have on your bucket-list. Anyway, we'll be using this oil on other things soon, maybe sprinkled on a nice green salad! It is pricey, but something that is very special. Looking forward to finding a lot more recipes using this precious treat!

**Q: The ingredient says "Black Truffle Aroma" does that mean it has artificial aroma to make it smell like truffle?**
A: The incredients are listing black truffle aroma ... that means it IS artificially flavored (additional to the black truffle piece in the oil). Google nytimes truffle aroma, it's an interesting article. Not OK that the seller is saying the opposite.

**Q: what is the artificial flavor. aroma mad of?**
A: There is no artificial flavor. It's very strong and earthy as is all truffle oil. My husband is a chef and we always use this brand.

**Q: Does this oil have 2,4-dithiapentane in it? Or is it real truffle?**
A: It's olive oil with black truffle (a small piece is in the bottom) and black truffle aroma. That's all it says in the ingredients. I freakin LOVE it though!

**Q: Is this amount of oil a good price vs buying at a local store (san diego, ca or southern california)**
A: I thought so. Very good quality

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tastes pretty good, mixed feelings

Not a truffle oil officianado but when you advertise “Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Summer Truffle Pieces”, i expect at least two pieces to qualify that statement. Seems more infused with artificial flavor than natural. The whole “pieces” part seems gimmicky having received my bottle. Some reviews call this misleading, etc. It does have excellent flavor but for $15, I want multiple pieces in my “infused” olive oil. I also am not too keen on there being artificial truffle flavor used more so than flavor from the actual truffles, but it tastes pretty dang good. And it is not a big bottle so read carefully. If you don’t mind spending $15 on a large airplane bottle of truffle flavored oil, than you’d probably enjoy this.
