Great wallpaper paste
I used Zinsser Sure Grip wallpaper paste for a recent project, and I was really impressed with how easy it was to work with. The consistency is smooth and spreads evenly without being too thick or runny, which made applying it much less messy than I expected. It gave me plenty of working time to position the wallpaper correctly, but once it set, it held everything firmly in place with no peeling or bubbling. I also appreciated that it didn’t have an overwhelming odor, which made the whole process more pleasant. Cleanup was simple with just warm water, and I didn’t have issues with staining or residue. Overall, this paste made what could have been a stressful project feel very manageable. I’d definitely use it again and recommend it to both beginners and experienced DIYers.

Nice product. Works well. Easy to apply with brush
So easy to use with unpasted traditional wallpaper. It will take more than one container to do a room though.

Works 98% of the Time
Used this glue for many projects and it works really well. Adhesion is good for most of the projects I did. Wallpaper stays up and rarely comes undone. But there were times, for whatever the reason, where using this glue had the wallpaper start to curl and come off about a week or two later (I am by no means an expert at wallpapering, but for such a low percentage of failure, I'd like to believe its the glue not adhering well). Its also really easy to clean off your hands which is nice.

Saved my sanity
Skip to the ** if you don’t care about my experience and just want to hear about the product, my feelings won’t be hurt. If this was a review for putting peel and stick wallpaper on an orange peel texture bathroom wall, this would be a one start review. My own fault. I assured my husband “it’ll be fine, I watched a TikTok on this and now I’m some sort of wall paper expert”. Took hours putting it up. Went through mental boot camp trying to figure out how to get the @$!?ing pattern to line up. Eventually just kinda went for it. I was happy with the result. Used the blow dryer trick to get it really stuck on that wall. Everything looked fine. I sent pics to all my friends, relished in the feeling of dominance over this godforesaken paper. I had won. Next day, like Christmas morning, I wake up and immediately go to bask in the gloriousness that my two hands had created. I walk in an what do I see? Peeling. 10” flopped down from the ceiling, bubbles around all my seams. Like the adhesive that came with it was some sort of joke. Very well, I’ll bust out the scraper and really smoosh that down. Fixed….NOT. After about 3 days of me thinking that if I just scrape it enough it’ll eventually stick, I broke down and bought this product. ** minute 0 of having this product delivered I already have it open and ready to go. Pretty sure it said to use a foam roller on the back of the paper but this thing comes in a tub and I’m not going to try to figure out how to make a roller happen with that. I used a 2” paint brush (but if you have one of those cheap foam brushes on a stick that would be a good option), dipped it in, slapped that on the back of everywhere the paper was peeling from the wall, used my scraper to press it back on, and 24 hours later, nothing has budged. I didn’t use the product on the entire paper, just the spots lifting and it seems to have done the job nicely. It’s a big tub so I’ve got a lot left over in case other spots start peeling in the future but for now, the battle of me vs peel and stick wall paper is over and I have emerged victorious thanks to this product. And I ordered more peel and stick wall paper last night for a different room. I will be using this product on that paper as a first resort when I put it up. 10/10 worth the purchase for peel-y paper. TLDR: if you’ve got textured walls and think you can use peel and stick wallpaper anyway and it will be fine, you’re lying to yourself. Buy this product and apply before putting it up, it will save your sanity. If you’ve already put up the paper and it’s peeling, slap this on the spots lifting and it’ll fix it.

Doesn’t work on Manufactured Home walls
May work for putting wallpaper on sheetrock, but it does not work on Manufactured Home walls to hang other paper or styrofoam “brick” wall covering (purchased on Amazon). No more effective than Elmer’s Glue. Takes too long to dry / doesn’t hold while it’s drying. :( Disappointed that I couldn’t finish my project.

Works great on stubborn lifting peel and stick on plaster walls
I am so glad I came across another review here that used this as her last resort to get her peel and stick wallpaper to actually stick and not peel. I knew I was up against a challenge when my beautiful vinyl peel and stick arrived from Etsy for my kids room knowing their particular bumpy plaster walls didn't hold the last peel and stick I ordered from Amazon. I convinced myself this time not would be different. I repainted, waited a full week, even used the EZ adhesive spray to add an extra layer of stick. But alas the sides and seems popped open and even adding more spray and holding it down with painters tape for a few days didn't work. So I got this stuff, peeled it gently back and applied it with a brush on my wall and on the seams that were coming undone. I then used painters tape to hold it all down while drying. 24 hours later I gently peeled off the tape and its been 4 days now and it's definitely holding. I can see mine or it lifting as I can see the plaster texture clearly now behind the paper. Will update if temperature changes or time lifts it! What I don't know though is it this is easy to get off now. If you're reading this your initial purpose using peel and stick might have been to easily remove it in case it's a rental or something. That's a future me problem. Hope this helps those with particularly bumpy plaster walls and still hope to use a fun peel and stick in their room!!! Use the painters tape trick though it didn't immediately stay out.

Easy to Remove
I put up wallpaper with this adhesive at the beginning of 2023. Within a few months in my bathroom, the paper started bubbling and curling up. Now, to be fair, it is hanging in a very small bathroom that is subject to high humidity, so it might not strictly be the adhesive. I will say, removing it was a piece of cake. It’s not mid-2024, and I decided to remove the wallpaper and paint instead. All I did to remove it was spray the wall with water and start peeling. I used a putty knife for areas of higher glue concentration, but I was pretty much able to remove all the wallpaper with simply a very damp paper towel and a spray bottle of water. My drywall took no damage. None at all. I didn’t give the product 1 star because I’m not sure if it was the adhesive, the paper, or the location of it, so I don’t think it’s fair to rate the product with uncertain variables. That being said, if it’s marketed as a solid hold product, then a humid environment shouldn’t cause it to release and cause bubbling in the paper. The picture shows how the paper peeled away from the wall despite having plenty of adhesive around the edges that, yes, I did clean off excess with a damp paper towel and smoothed it down.

works great
I put up a full double roll of thick textured paper and used about 2/3 of the the bucket. Need to stir it really well to get the liquid mixed in. Worked well, no off putting smell and easy to spread. Recommend.

Excelente adhesivo
