I work in the oilfields of South Texas and have had and used the Gerber MP600 for 20 years. I used the same pair of bluntnose multi tool for 18 of those years. I always hated the nylon sheath. The Velcro always gave way and it was sometimes hard to get the tool out with one hand. When working in a demanding environment that is fast paced, anything that will make things easier and save a little bit of time is well worth it. Once I came across this sheath, I instantly bought it. It immediately became something that I’ll never go without from now on. Being able to pull the tool out with one hand and immediately be able to use it is very convenient. The Gerber MP600 is very easy to use with one hand too because of the way it is moved into its working position. Holding it in a particular position and with the flick of your wrist, the plier jaws slide out and they’re ready to use. This sheath makes putting them to use much quicker. I can have my multitool out and in use in less than 2 seconds. Putting it away is just as easy too. The sheath holds on to the tool securely and I have never had any issues with retention. I don’t go anywhere without my Gerber and this sheath will always be the one I use whenever I get a new pair. To me, this sheath is a must have and something I wish I found sooner. There is no multitool or multiplier better than the Gerber MP600, in my opinion. I have seen reviews of others saying how theirs broke very quickly after buying it and this seems very foreign to me. I have had mine for 20 years and only recently bought a new pair just to have a needle-nose one, as well as my bluntnose pair. My bluntnose pair have always been reliable and are used several times a day. The only piece that has ever broke on them is the carbide cutters, which are easily replaced. Pairing the MP600 with this sheath is a must. There is no other way that makes sense. If this sheath can stand up to the daily rigors and demands of the oilfield, it’s well worth the money. Gerber should replace the nylon sheath that comes with the pliers with this kydex sheath. Once you have this sheath, you will never go back to using the crappy nylon sheath that comes with the tool. I can’t give enough compliments about this sheath. If it is able to stand up to the stress I put it through daily, it’s worth the $30 and makes your Gerber that much easier and better to use.

Fits perfectly absolutely awesome really, I've been searching for a good belt holster for this tool since it was issued to me in the air force back in 95. I had a custom leather one made in the Philippines but it eventually wore out. This fits perfectly and holds it tight.

This is the greatest multitool carrier of all time. I have worn-out to many leather or canvas ill fitting carriers to count. This one allows me to adjust the grip of the tool and belt tension and fitting. Where have you been all my life.

I've been seeing this in my recommended for a while now, but I just recently decided to pull the trigger after my FOURTH Gerber pouch gave out on me. I do really like the stock pouch that Gerber provides with their military-issue multitools, but the Velcro seems to give out after a few months, requiring a replacement if you carry yours every day like I do. This clip has worked out really well for me, as I no longer need to worry about that pesky Velcro at all. It sits on my belt well, and the retention is perfect for my liking, although it can be adjusted with the screws on the side if not. My only gripe is that it is a little expensive for what it is. But if you're like me and you've bought a ton of the Gerber ones, it's pretty easy to justify this small jump in price.

Looks like a good product. Not made for left handed people but I’ll use it. Holds gerber in tight. (Update Aug 2023) great product, use it everyday, very well made, haven’t lost my gerber yet!
