Riptide Rush is my favorite flavor of Gatorade. Although I haven't tried all of the flavors, this one certainly has a great taste and is extremely satisfying when consumed ice cold on a blazing hot summer day or after an intense workout. I'm well aware that Gatorade isn't very good for everyday consumption or even after an intense workout due to all the sugars and dyes, but it's definitely a great summer treat once in a while. Also good for staying hydrated when really feverish, and some people even swear that Gatorade is a miracle worker for recovering from a punishing hangover.The flavor itself is a very mellow grape flavor that isn't overly sweetened. As far as flavors go, this is my favorite, and then classic Lemon Lime and the blue Frost flavor round out my personal top 3.I do have to bring up the issue of price though. Does a 12-pack of the 32oz bottles really command a $50 price tag? You may have to shop around local stores, but you should be able to find at least one shop nearby that sells the 32oz bottles for about $2.00 or less. The good thing about Gatorade is that this stuff is sold EVERYWHERE. Local drugstores, gas stations, bodegas, grocery stores, etc. Although there are certain flavors that are notoriously difficult to find in stores (such as Lime Cucumber) RipTide Rush isn't one of them. Shop around and you should be able to find it and avoid paying a whopping double the retail cost online.
