This powder does work and color is correct but does not lay out flat. Following proper procedure it will come out of the oven with a hammered finish. Our business does commercial and custom powder coating so we use quality equipment and proper preparation as well. Overall a bad purchase unless you are looking for a semigloss hammered finish.

Have been doing powder coating on home projects for years. I bought this to finish some outside lights as I ran out of powder that I had purchased from the powder coat store. I used all the same steps, cleaning, pre bake, cool, and temps. the first batch came out orange peeled and textured. Thinking I may have made the mistake I recleaned and re-baked my remaining parts. Tried my second batch of parts and the same thing happened. Upon checking further I have since found that I am not the only person that has had this happen to. This will not give you a smooth gloss finish. It is a hammered finish. The only reason it gets one star is because it won't let me post a ZERO.
