It's not a "wet" battery, so I really don't think it would matter.

how long should I charge this battery ?

These are exceptionately poor quality batteries - do not buy it. The one I bought failed after only 6 months and would not hold a charge after routine regular charging in a spotlight. The spotlight charger was run regularly following the spotlight instructions for about 5 hours. The previous battery lasted 6 years and was not an Interstate battery.
