Update 2. Update 1 was done too quickly
10/14/22. Still waiting on Mach E so I installed in the Lightning. I received a replacement dash cam as mentioned below after disputing thru my credit card company. Unfortunately I have purchased 5 of the v5’s over the last year. 3 from Amazon, 2 from Rexing depending on price / promotion. Only 2 have worked as advertised. The last one I received as the replacement does not have 3 channel capability only front and inside. And Rexing will not replace the replacement because they already replaced with a defective unit. I’m not going to even try to get the 5th one replaced. It’s not worth the effort of dealing with them. “Send your original invoice, now send pictures and video, now update the firmware, oh, sorry we can’t replace because there was a dispute”. I agree with others comments about only 4K if using just front camera, turns off with casual conversation, wiring for always on to fuse never worked. Yes, I am an Engineer, Developer, technologist all the way back to Fortran. I know what I know. This is not a good product and the company does not support the product as they should. Update: 9/8/22. I received an email apology for all the hassles a couple weeks ago along with an offer to provide a new replacement. I just received a brand new V5C I will be installing in my brand new Mustang Mach-E when it arrives next week. Obviously Rexing had some warranty processes they needed to shore up and have. Thanks Rexing for reading your emails and monitoring reviews from your customers. Dashcam is ok. Instructions are not intuitive. Warranty is a joke. They offer an 18 month extended warranty if you signup for the extra 6 months but then if you try to get them to help or replace a defective accessory which has the same warranty as the dash cam you have to provide original receipt for the dashcam, the inside or waterproof camera. Purchased from their website and registered on their website! And then they still want more documentation. If you buy, assume there is no warranty regardless what their slick ad says.

Faulty Camera and Poor Customer Service
I originally ordered camera from Amazon and upon taking possession of said camera, I discovered that a number of features (GPS logging, voice commands, WIFI connections, etc.) were not available. The camera's menu also didn't match the documentation so the camera was returned.I then decided to place the order directly with Rexing USA. However, the camera that was sent was the 1st Gen or in Rexing's terminology, the "Basic" even though my order was for the newer version "Premium" that supports 3 simultaneous video recording streams. I only found this out when I ordered the rear and cabin cameras and was not able to record all 3 streams. So I reached out to Rexing but they claimed that I ordered the Basic. Even after providing proof of my invoice they wouldn't budge until I informed them that I will reach out to the BBB and my state's consumer affairs division to file a complaint. They were quick to provide a replacement.Rexing's "normal" protocol is to offer 2 options for replacement warranty:Option 1 - Return your camera using the return shipping label which will be provided after receiving an email containing your shipping address. When we can confirm that you dropped off your return package, an order for a new camera will then be processed and shipped your way. (Return label provided by Rexing)Option 2 - You will be provided a coupon code which is to be used to order a brand-new camera of the same model as the defective camera. There is a 20% hold put on your card until the defective camera is returned. This will allow you to continuously use your camera until the new camera arrives. This option is best suited for customer with minor issues that doesn’t hinder the cameras’ ability to record.I chose Option 1 and notified Rexing Care that the camera has been dropped off with UPS which clearly shows that the camera is now in UPS' possession. However, Rexing's response then changed to: "...the replacement unit will be shipped once the defective unit reaches the warehouse..." This is clearly not what Option 1 states. Given the situation, I decided to stick it out. After nearly 3 weeks later I finally received the replacement camera.The replacement camera now fully supports the 3 recording streams as advertised but there was another issue. The GPS logging does not work. After multiple days of troubleshooting and logging the issue with Rexing Care team, they offered another replacement with the same options above. Once again, I chose Option 1 after getting confirmation from Rexing that a replacement camera will be ordered and shipped out once the faulty camera is in UPS' hands. Nope! Another lie. Once I dropped off the camera and informed Rexing, I was told once again that "...the replacement unit will be shipped once the defective unit reaches the warehouse..."At this point there was nothing I can do but complain to Rexing all of which was ignored. So I waited again. The camera took 7 calendar days to reach Rexing's warehouse which I notified Rexing Care of the delivery. I waited another week an no camera so I contacted Rexing again. The day after contacting Rexing, I was sent a tracking number. Another week goes by before the camera arrives. It's now over 3 weeks...but I was just glad the camera arrived. Then...I go to test out the camera and it has the same issue. The GPS logging doesn't work!I run through a short version of the testing/troubleshooting I did with Rexing with the previous camera and provided a video. They want to issue another replacement warranty. I kid you not!!Don't trust this camera and spend your money elsewhere. If you check the Rexing's FAQs and issues on their website and elsewhere, the GPS logger issue is very common with no real fix in sight.Rexing's Customer Care will put you through the ringer before offering a replacement. Be prepared to document all of your troubleshooting steps and provide videos of proof of issue. Even with all of this, they may still dig their heels and blame it on the user for not allowing the GPS ample time (5-10 minutes) to properly receive the signal before driving the car.Again, this is a faulty camera. I have a few V1s and they work flawless...can't say the same for the V5...
