They Knew What They Were Doing
so basically what do you want in skateboarding knee pads? Umm that they are comfortable and aren’t a nuisance .. and that they will protect when you go down..So these do both those things.. and they look good..So just to elaborate a bit: the combo of nylon and padding with a Velcro strap to hold in place and then a stronger nylon strap for tension over it.. see they knew what they were doing.. this makes it so you can wear looser or tighter and it doesn’t annoy or cause abrasion.. like i can get them to a point where i don’t even really notice them and they don’t effect my skating.. so then if they do need to come into use on a fall: yep good correct about of hard plastic shell and then padding underneath…

Comfortable and durable
Fit great, soft material and wearable enough for roller derby. Breathable and easy to put in. Good value for your money.

good pads
works great and fits comfortable, chart sizes might be a little small, meaning I should have got the next size up... if you're at the threshold go with the larger size.

Great product, must have!
These are comfortable. They stay in place. And they work. Paid for themselves on the first day by saving me a trip to the ER. Protect yourself!

A++ Top-Notch Protection and Comfort!
The Triple Eight EP elbow pads are absolutely fantastic! They offer excellent protection without sacrificing comfort. I've used them during multiple skate sessions, and they’ve saved my elbows more times than I can count. The fit is snug but not restrictive, and the padding is thick and absorbs impacts perfectly.The straps are adjustable and stay secure, even during intense skating. Plus, the build quality is solid, with no signs of wear after repeated use. If you want reliable, professional-grade elbow protection, these are the way to go. Highly recommend!

Must have
I love these. I fell off a scooter about 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I landed on my right elbow. I knew right away that something was wrong with it. Turns out I had a small fracture in my radial head. It eventually healed but that accident was when I realized that I needed elbow pads for when riding a scooter. The next day I ordered these pads on Amazon and I won't rise without them. These pads are fantastic. They're not that expensive but they're very effective. They fit well and they have a hard shell on the outside right over the elbow. That hard shell is primarily what will protect your elbow from being injured if you have a bad fall. I've had 3 falls on my scooter since getting these elbow pads and didn't even get a scrape from any of them while wearing these pads. Obviously you never want to fall, but if you do, these pads WILL protect (and save) your elbow. I've had the same pair for over 2.5 years at this point and they work great. They don't wear down or anything. Highly recommend. Honestly, I think these pads are better than some of the more expensive elbow pads. Sometimes basic pads are better than more "sophisticated pads". Trust me....get these and you won't be sorry.

I like these Elbow Pads
They offer a lot of protection compared to my old ones. Although to be honest, they are not quite as comfortable as my old ones because they cover more area and are slightly bulkier. (I feel its a good compromise - I never notice it when I skate - only when I'm putting them on.)I also like the way they are contoured near the elbow - they offer greater skid protection when you hit the ground.You can wear them with the Velcro strap or the elastic band. I prefer the Velcro.

Sizing issues
I measured as accurately as possible with a soft tape and even ordered with a couple inches in mind to spare just in case my skills weren't up to par. These barely fit. The main culprit is the neoprene sleeve. It's way too tight to don oneself. I had my SO pull these up into position. Once there, they were mildly comfortable, but still very tight. Had to readjust a few times so it didn't cut circulation. Not possible without the sleeve unless you're cool with pads that slide around. It was also a bit hard to feel where the pads should rest (the level of padding in phenomenal): I couldn't quite find that perfect "slot" in the crease of the elbow/pad which is what you may be more familiar with in cupped designs, because these are flat pads. [ < rather than (<.
