I purchased the lobster claw clasp because I lost the one that came off of my sterling silver wide chain and needed to replace it. I was going to go to a jeweler and then I decided to give Amazon a look and there it was. I was not sure of the size but I took a chance and the size was perfect for my chain. I love that I could repair my chain without the services of a jeweler and I have a couple of extras.

Bigger than description. Mine measure 18mm without the ring. Very happy. They are real solid .925 sterling silver.
