PUT YOUR MOTO-EGO ASIDE, DON'T BE A CAVEMAN AND GET THIS FANTASTIC, ROCK-SOLID KICKSTAND AND BE CIVILIZED!
This thing is bad ASS! Solid as a rock. I'm an old pro motocrosser using "Richard Johnson" as an alias, FYI. I started racing, and rode pro, in the days when kickstands were still allowed and bikes were manufactured with them. When I saw that this was available for my 2016 YZF450FGY Anniversary Edition, I thought about it. Then I was on a dry, hardpack motocross track one day, cross-rutted and had to slap my foot down and jacked my knee up. When I got back to the truck, it was everything I could do to hoist that pig up onto the bike stand with one working leg. That's when I made up my mind. Stinkin' four strokes are too heavy. This kickstand is so rock solid, I had to show it to the guys at the track and let them put it down and lean the bike over to see how solid it is. They were all impressed after they actually worked with it and saw how convenient it is. Now I can just pull up, put the kickstand down and walk away. The only time I need to put the bike on the stand is when I'm working on something that requires it, or if I'm lubing the chain. The kickstand mount replaces the footpeg mount, so the peg is in the exact same position as stock. This thing will make your life so much easier. For race day, you can just pull it off and put the stock peg mount back on. I don't race these days, only practice, so it's super cool to have a kickstand again. Put your ego aside, don't be a snob and get this thing. It will make you very happy every time you don't have to lift that four stroke porker, and it will save the day if you get hurt. If you ride over to the port-a-can or to help a downed rider, just put the kickstand down while everybody else has to lay their bikes on their sides like cavemen. NOW who's got the hot setup?

Sturdy and solid. It replaces the foot peg bracket, so zip-tie the spring when you take the peg off to make putting it back on easier. A must have for YZ450F!
