Love this but it is thin. It is a moisturizer that imparts a tint to correct your skin tone.
This tinted moisturizer is an essential-style moisturizer item in a tube. Still, this brand is superior for young women or ladies with very little sun damage. I have a foundation which is sheer and does not cover hyperpigmentation. However, other brands that might be related to them cover more. This one makes my skin look younger, brighter, more translucent, and even-toned. They are superior products, as I have many of them. I believe their foundations are also in good company, SPF products, and eye makeup (and perhaps lip products). I have no issue paying for these with my funds, So I might add a complementary product to the one I reviewed. In the case of this brand, I've tried a light shade of foundation along with the darker one offered. That is how much I love this brand. This item is pretty pricey, so that I will use it with a less expensive cover foundation or concealer hiding spots, then apply this and some bronzer and blush. This technique guarantees the look of younger skin and a more natural look. The texture and scent are beyond pleasant I will use these products when I want to look and feel younger, more attractive, up close and personal.Appropriately priced, you might believe in these However, I will mix this one with other less expensive products that are well-suited for a 67-year-old with age spots and scars. However, I am also saying these are well worth paying extra. The color is neutral in the beige medium-toned one.Enjoy!

Overpowering rose smell, ingredients not great, zero coverage
Why oh why does By Terry need to make ALL their products smell like roses?! Seriously! Why?! Today it seems most people don’t want scented skin care and makeup. A lot can get past it with powders but even they would prefer them to be unscented. But majority don’t like skin care and foundations to be scented. But By Terry, a more expensive brand, makes EVERYTHING smell like roses! If I’m paying a higher price tag, I want something worth that higher price tag - nice packaging, nice formula, nice ingredients. Fragrance is a completely unnecessary ingredient!Along with unnecessary “parfum/fragrance” being in this, it also has other ingredients people might have issue with - silicones, Talc, mica, parabens, and mineral oil. This has a pump on it, which is nice. The consistency is creamy and looks thick but it applies very sheer. It has no coverage. All it does it even out skin tone. If you have anything at all you’re trying to actual cover, this won’t do that. It will make your skin tone look more even, reduce redness (but not completely cover it if it’s a lot of redness). The rose scent is SO STRONG. I’m not even sensitive to smells and I couldn’t handle it! I always apply my cc cream/foundation/etc. around my nose (who doesn’t?), so I would smell the rose ALL DAY LONG. It never dissipated, even though I really hoped it would! It feels nice and hydrating on the skin, but it doesn’t seem to absorb in the skin or set. It stays tacky on the skin and transfers unless you set it with powder. As others have pointed out, this doesn’t have SPF. I didn’t mind that because I never look to my CC Cream/foundation/etc. to provide my SPF. Nobody should. You’re never going to apply enough of it to actually get the stated protection, and if you did, it probably isn’t going to look too great! I always apply my regular SPF with my skin care. Then, if a foundation has SPF in it, great, I get a little extra protection. If not, I have my regular SPF. It’s not something that I really factor into whether I like a foundation. With this, since it doesn’t give any real coverage, it seemed like it could be something that you would have been able to apply as sunscreen. But, it doesn’t have any in it.For me I don’t see the point in this. Since it doesn’t actually cover anything and just barely evens out my skin tone, unless you have perfect skin already, this won’t be much help. If you already have perfect skin, I don’t see the point in getting this. I can’t handle the rose scent. This is by far the worst smelling By Terry product I’ve gotten since the smell doesn’t fade away, it just stays smacking you in the face all day! It just seems to be a way overpriced tinted moisturizer. The product itself and the ingredients don’t correlate with the price for me, so I can’t recommend it.FULL INGREDIENTSAqua / Water / Eau, Dimethicone, Isohexadecane, Isododecane, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/dicaprate, Talc, Peg/ppg-18/18 Dimethicone, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipentaerythrityl Hexacaprylate/hexacaprate, Ci 77891 / Titanium Dioxide, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Citrate, Dextrin Palmitate, Hdi/trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Divinyldimethicone/dimethicone Crosspolymer, C30-45 Alkyl Methicone, C30-45 Olefin, Mica, Paraffinum Liquidum / Mineral Oil / Huile Minerale, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopherol, Parfum / Fragrance, Hydrogen Dimethicone, Ci 77492 / Iron Oxides, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Olus Oil / Vegetable Oil / Huile Vegetale, Silica, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Methylparaben, Rosa Alba Leaf Cell Extract, Rosa Centifolia Leaf Cell Extract, Sodium Lactate, Tetrasodium Edta, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cetyl Alcohol, Ci 77491 / Iron Oxides, Palmitic Acid, Ci 77499 / Iron Oxides, Geraniol, Sodium Carboxymethyl Beta-glucan, Citronellol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Eugenol, Carnosine, Lactic Acid, Limonene. Overpowering Rose Scent; Good Sheer Tint (No Orange Cast)
While I found the Terry Moisturizing CC Cream has good spreadability and a lightweight, sheer, non-orange tint (no SPF), the rose fragrance (natural or not) is extremely overpowering and lingers. It evokes a very dated thing in me, like something my grandmother would use and I'm in my 40s. So strong it is near nauseating. Rose is nice, but not in something I'm going to apply to my face. Otherwise, the use and coverage are good. If it had been fragrance-free, I would have given it higher marks. Suitably packaged in a tube pump but ridiculously overpriced for $87 as of this review for a basic tinted moisturizer. But this is in line with this brand's pricing.

A new favorite 😍
I'm impressed with this! Most of my skin has a bit of a yellow undertone to it-including my neck and many areas on my face but I also have a lot of redness in my face due to a health condition. When I wear makeup I wear a full coverage foundation and usually with a color correcting primer to help cover all of the redness. This is great for days that I'm not going to wear full makeup but also want to cover the redness. It does a great job doing so. Plus, it has such a nice finish by itself and gives my complexion a brightened, pick-me-up look to it. It's also hydrating and doesn't irritate my skin. One of the best things about it is that it's super quick and easy to apply. It has a rose scent to it- the one that is often in products from this brand. I have no complaints about it. It's now a favorite of mine 🙌
